Leatt has years of experience keeping riders safe with their braces and protective gear, and now with the 5.5 Enduro Jacket they’ve gone all-in to designing an ultra-technical, hardcore jacket built around surviving hard enduro and providing convenience during a race.
A 600D water-resistant shell works as the base for all the features, and there are quite a few. A number of main and secondary pockets cover the jacket with 6 on the front, 2 on the back, and one clear id/map/device pocket on the right forearm. You’ll also find well-thought-out size adjustment at the arms and the waist, which will be crucial for wearing the jacket over independent body armor and additional base layers when the temp dips down.
Venting is handled by two moderately sized zippered chest vents in the front and two even larger exhaust vents oriented vertically along the back. Integrated hydration is also on the back of the jacket along with hydration hose routing paths and a support system to handle the weight of a full hydration bladder.
And last but not least is the neck compatibility you get from the jackets unique collar design. Using the optional "over collar" as a cover you can wear a neck brace to remain protected, but still have coverage that keeps cold wind and rain from dripping down your neck.
