I like this unit because it carrys alot. The shoulder supports are wide. The unit is also expandable with options like front pockets. I added an additional 3 litre bag which makes it kinda heavy, but, over the days run, it gets lighter and all is good.

Very pleased with the purchase! Good weight distribution, and lots of adjustability. Storage is good, and the breast zip pockets are nice for stowing your phone or wallet. Bladder has nice features - Clamp/zip lock for filling and cleaning, quick disconnect at bladder, and a good bite valve. MSR gear I've purchased has proven to be well made and full of mindful features.

This is a very well made Tool Pack. It has plenty of room for all of your tool and repair needs. There are plenty of securement loops, and a zippered pouch. There is a magnetic panel to hold loose fasteners, nut and bolts, etc. I will recommend this pack to everyone.

Replaced the original bite valve on a military surplus hydration pack that I'd bitten through. Works well but the on/off toggle is a bit of a nuisance. Minor gripe, I'd still recommend this product.

Was using Osprey packs for extra room, mainly because I prefer the fold-type bladders over the camelback's style. Delighted to find this USWE uses the fold-type, has a pocket inside the pocket over more another pocket with pockets, both of which have interior elastic straps for holding all your shit in place. I put my KTM toolkit across the inside bottom of the main compartment to keep the weight closer to my hips. The NDM tech is a game-changer and sizing isn't an issue for me and I'm 6'4" with a thick chest protector. 3L is a LOT of water and you can hardly tell it's there. The magnetic clip is a must IMO and I did lose mine riding so there's that.. I'd recommend positioning it with the open part of the clip pointed down/out
