Heavy and heavy duty!
This pack is beefy! Held my tool kit, rain jacket, 3l of water and snacks. Comfortable and well made. Very stable when riding. Spendy but the good stuff always is.

Best Hydration Pack Ever
I'm very impressed with this pack. I've used Camelback for years and this system is far more durable and better design than the Camelback line.

Here is what impresses me the most:
1. Zippers are super strong and easy to open and close
2. Hydration tube braiding keeps your water cool when it's hot out.
3. Storage on sides of pack make getting your tools in and out easy.
4. The waist strap is large and the click is large so easier to work with gloves on. Very comfortable too! My camelback's broke in first few months so I cut it off.
5. Arm straps are soft/comfortable and easy to get on and off with full protection suit on and neck protector.
6. Ton's of extra storage for food and other stuff.

Awesome Pack!!!
This is a great pack. It holds a lot of water and I can pack way more than I need for an all day ride. No problems with zippers unless I try to over pack a compartment.

Zipper broke before first ride
Loaded it up with all my gear to go riding, same gear that fits in my Klim nak pak that I just sold unfortunately. Tried to close zippers... unless the moon is aligned perfectly with venus the zipper will split apart when trying to close. Took 30 minutes to get zippers to close on upper compartments. Not a great first impression. Thought maybe after some use they might get better. Had a group of riders waiting on me at every stop I opened the zippers to get a snack or check my phone. Unit is very comfortable and holds a lot of tools and supplies but the storage is useless when the zippers don't close.

Good design and fit, frustrating zippers
"Zippers?!? Really, dude?"

Unfortunately, yes. Zac Speed nails pretty much every aspect of this product; Fit, finish, comfort, adjustability, quality hydration unit and delivery system ... pretty darn great.

But, from the moment I got it out of the bag/box the water-resistant zippers began being difficult. I found them stiff, but worse, three (3) of the zippers would not remain closed (they would hit a 'rough' patch in the middle somewhere and the teeth would stop locking together, though the head of the zipper keeps moving. In addition, the zippers were very stiff and took two hands and effort to open or close.

I want to like these bags very much, but the zippers, the things that should take zero effort or concentration, took a good deal of both. My hope is my bag was a lemon and everyone else's works wonderfully because again ZS has the right plan, but possibly bad execution.

Is the 13.5lt of capacity the actual pack capacity or is it 10.5lt and another 3lt for the water bladder?
Michael B on Aug 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 13.5L is the capacity of the actual pack.

The 3L water bladder is separate and not considered in the capacity of the pack.
