  5 stars after the first ride. Fit is true to Gaerne size charts. Adjustments accommodate heavy knee brace well. Feel is better than I expected with a boot that provides so much protection. Protection is superior to other enduro boots I own. I would buy them again

  Comfortable, low-profile, protective boots.

  Very functional boots for riding and walking. They keep you dry after immersion at low water crossings. They may not be as protective as taller boots, but are very comfortable and wear well. They will become squeaky after some break-in, but that is to be expected as they articulate well at the ankle. I have not noticed any unusual wear after a 1600 mile trip in rough, rocky and sandy terrain. The foot bed is thick and may make it difficult for shifting on some bikes, but I got used to that after a few miles of use.The boot clamps/straps make getting in and out of the boots a breeze. The upper part of the boot with the velcro closure could have been fitted better. I have big calves, but still needed to secure most of the material firmly around my leg to obtain a secure fit with the clamps. But, maybe the added material provides more room for pants, leg braces and other protective gear. I highly recommend these boots.
