    Tight but Good!
Kind of tough to do a review in the first week or two of having these during the winter months.
Biggest concern was the width. Lot of reviews said they are wider but that did not seem to be the case. They are uncomfortably snug for the first few hours of wearing them. Once you kind of mussle through it, they start to get more comfortable.
The rest of the experience is great! Really happy to break them in and start enjoying them.

    Better then my racing boots....
Got these for dual sport riding - which here in Nevada can be pretty rough going but does not require the monster Tech series boots used for racing. This boot allows more flexibility while still protecting the ankle and foot. I was surprised by the thick, hard sole in the arch area and find that's it's support and protection is great for standing up for extended periods (normal out here). The shorter boot is easy on the calves and allows for my knee braces to fit with no "gear conflict". By the end of summer I expect this boot to be my favorites and that is with three other pairs in the garage. AND the buckles are easy to open and close - important for an oldster - which I am. Like the style too. Great boots - but that is standard for Alpinestars.

    WOW!!!
Being a dual-sport rider, I have been trying lots of different styles and manufacturers of boots, and these BY FAR are the most comfortable boots I have ever used. The fit, adjustability, and features are above average, and the comfort is amazing. I really love the flexibility at the ankle, to be able to easily walk in these boots makes them a perfect choice for the dual sport/adventure style rider.

    LOVE these boots!!!
I've been wearing these boots for last 4 months an I love them. I wear them for light off-road but mostly adventure touring. Comfortable enough I can ride from home to Leavenworth, WA (about 3 hour ride) and walk doing touristy stuff for an hour or two and be comfortable. Haven't ridden in all day rain yet but stayed dry in shorter stints. They are not vented and there is no ventilation so my feet do get a little warm but no different than wearing a pair of Danner work boots or motocross boots. If they were vented I think you would lose your water protection. These measure 12" tall vs my Alpinestars tech 7 which measure 16". For the days I'm going to ride hard off road I just wear those. I bought the brown oiled set so a fresh coat of Obenauf's boot oil make them look new again. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

    Not a Dual Sport Boot
Check other options for dual sport boots, my boot cushioned the drop between a rock and the bars and punctured all the way through.
