Love them! Did their job.
For the price I am extremely happy. I bought 2 pair. For me and my son for trail riding. They became comfortable fairly quickly. My son and I both had a few wrecks in the woods on a muddy first day. The most important part is they did their job.
I had an expensive pair when I was younger and enjoy these O’Neal boots more than them.

Great boot so far for the money!
Wanted better protection for some off road riding on the KLR. Side hard boxes look like great leg breakers in a bike dump. I wear 10.5 and have fairly narrow feet. I ordered 11 and they fit like a glove. I expected to be loose since most shoes I buy are too wide for my feet. These aren’t. If you have wide feet, these might be a problem for you. I wore them around the house for about 8 hours, up and down stairs, and just walking to break them in a bit. They are comfortable to me. I put in a pair of gel insole inserts as they have little padding. I have 2 rides and about 200 miles on the bike now and really like them so far. Haven’t change my shifter height but may play with that. Haven’t got them wet yet either. But so far for the money I’m very pleased. Will update over time as to how they wear. Hope I never need their protection, but glad to have it.
Look good and I find the buckles easy to use and adjust.

Ok for entry level
If you are new to the sport and have a big list to fill for all the gear you've got to buy It's ok to start with these. They get the job done. Just be prepared to buy another boot later. They are durable but mine developed pinch points after a year of use. When I have to walk with them I unbuckle them completely. Also, The lower buckles are difficult to latch and unlatch just because of the location and angle. I have a torn rotator cuff which does not help.

Great boot, especially considering the price
I just received my boots, I normally wear a size 10 1/2 but only 10 and 11 were available, so I went for the 11, it fit well out of the box. Immediately, I noticed how comfortable they are, no break in required. Buckles are fairly straightforward, easy to operate. My previous boot was also an O'Neal element and it lasted for many years before the plastics started to fall apart. I'm sure there are better boots, but certainly not at this price. I highly recommend it. After I wear it a few times, I will write another review.

Excellent boots and excellent price.
I needed to update my old riding boots without breaking the bank. I came across these in the entry level boots video and liked what I saw so I placed my order. They are comfortable, much lighter than my old boots and look great. I love the buckles and everything looks and feels well made. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Pretty nice boot overall
Good starter boot. Works great for the trail riding I do. A little stiff still as not completely broken in. I wear a 9.5. Ordered a size 10 and they fit very well

Other companies try to emulate Rocky Mountain's greatness! Rocky mountain is #1 by a long shot!
First off I'd like to say that Rocky mountain is at the top when it comes to running a business! Orders always ship same day and they arrive within one to two days max to my door! These boots i ordered yesterday and they arrived today, right out of the box they are stiff but that's to be expected with new boots. I wear a size 11.5 in men's shoes and i ordered a 12 in these and they fit perfectly with my Rocky mountain socks. If i didn't have Rocky mountain i probably wouldn't enjoy riding and turning wrenches as much as I do!

Help with sizing boots?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My grandson had tennis shoes size 10 or 10-1/2 -- can't remember -- We ordered an 11 in the boots, so they'd fit for awhile. Pretty true to size. They were big but a pair of insoles snugged them up so he could wear them.
do these boots have smooth or enduro soles?
Donald C on Nov 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They are fairly smooth soles. There’s a little grip but not much.
Do the boots hinge at the ankle so I can walk in them?
Karver M on Nov 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They aren't hinged, like say an old Scott boot, but they flex at the ankle like a normal boot so walking isn't an issue. But keep in mind that they are heavier and bulkier than normal footwear and, as thus, are more for riding than walking.
Are they waterproof?
Mike s on Jul 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They are waterproof up to the top of the boot, a great pair of responsibly priced boots
It says bonded sole but looks like sewn on. The old elements were bonded. Does anyone know?
John B on Aug 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These are sewn. I apologize for the confusion. We will get that note fixed.
