I am not a fan of roll off systems, therefore I use the tear offs. These work great. I am able to stack on quite a few before vision becomes cloudy which helps me keep my goggles on longer. I definitely recommend having a backup set of goggles so you can have a full, fresh set when you pit for fuel. Easy to install and use.
Have been using these goggles and standard tear offs for a while now and haven't had any issues . Only gripe i have is that sometimes , the holes in them where they go on the posts don't always have the material come out . So you end up having these small circles of plastic needing to be pulled out. I have pulled some and then it ends up ripping the tear off .
Not a huge issue as you may rip one tear off out of 20 but just something to watch for ! Good Product from Scott .
Great for everyday riding but the laminated ones are way clearer and better for racing. I use these on every ride just to keep the lens from getting scratched and I can use my gloves to wipe the dust off and not worry about scratching the lens.
Tearoffs are a must IMO. Not only to give you clear vision but also to protect your lens. I will say that I will get the laminated kind next time so water and mud can't get in behind each individual tear off.
I Recommend the Scott works prospect standard tear-offs
I've bought a couple of Scott works prospect standard tear-offs and have never had an issue with them. Good quality for the value paid. Never get fogged up and I haven't had the issue of mud/water getting inbetween the numerous tearoffs I put in during my races due to the tight, exact fit. I wpuld definately recomend these to anyone else using the prosepct goggles.
The Scott tear off works great when I need to clear my vision. Ordering these from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC makes my life so much easier because they are the cheapest and are at my door step in a few days.
