Whether you’re a beginner, a veteran, or a pro, pick up the Thor Blitz Boots for the comfort, safety, and fit you need. The Blitz is built around an excellent scheme of integrated protection that includes a pre-curved injection molded shin plate, a large synthetic heat shield, and anti-abrasion shift panels that keep wear at bay. These provide security, but since comfort is also a priority, Thor has integrated features like the secure 3 buckle closure, moisture managing mesh liner, and flexible but grippy outsole that all work together to make your time in the Blitz Boots well spent.
Specs:
Pre-curved injection molded shin plate
3 fully adjustable buckle straps allow for a custom, rider specific fit
Fully synthetic heat shield provides temperature resistance
Injection molded medial abrasion plate with integrated shift protection
Mesh liner promotes airflow without sacrificing comfort
Uni-directional outsole with steel shank insert and toe cap
I’ve finally outfitted my daughters with proper boots and riding pants after our trip to Utah for some Thanksgiving single track. We rode the west side of Lake Utah on some blm land and the rocky terrain helped me make the jump. The boots and pants were on sale. Great price and the fit and quality are excellent. We can’t wait to go back out to ride again.
I had some old thor boots that I rode for years, while my friends had similarly priced entry level boots which would only last for 9 months or so before they were falling apart. The Thor boots were also much more comfortable, and felt more protective as well. I was happy when I received this pair that the quality and comfort was still there. Can't believe how nice and secure they feel. Have so far been very durable over the last 6 months. Only downside is the pretty cheap clasps which are annoying to work.
As an entry level Boot, they're great boots. I had issues with protection, broke 3 Foot bones at the Idaho City 100 from the bike endo-ing and landed on my foot/calf, 3mo old boots... The boot was a great splint the rest of the race and at camp. I also now size up 1 full size for toe room for rock and log impacts, another issue I had before upgrading to a SIDI boot.
Boot got me into dirt biking 5/5. Racing and hard Enduro riding 2/5.
these boots are amazing for the weekend rider or the trail rider but if your looking at Motocross boots spend the extra money and get a good pair of boots. The sole in these boots tend to bend very easy and i broke my foot in them from my sole bending in half in a corner. these boots are amazing for everything else though
I bought 2 pairs of these for 2of my boys and after 2 rides they both have a rip in the kicker boot very disappointed in them dont waste your money in these
Have only worn around house, they feel nice and i anticipate the break in to be short. I wear a size 12 work boot and bought 13s due to past experience with thor boots. Last pair held up very well and i expect these to as well.
This is my second pair sold my other when I sold my last bike. Got a new bike but loved the shoes. Fit perfectly and are comfortable. I enjoy the color I chose and it's all around a great product
Totly outstanding and perfect consistency love it would highly recommend it love it very great value and would highly recommend rockiemountian atv for all further purchases
Great boot for cheap, buckles need to be tight but other than that good motocross boot. Especially if you're on a budget. Not the best off-road enduro boot if that's what your looking for but that's not what it's meant for. Overall a good solid riding boot
These broke in real quick. 1 good ride and they loosened up significantly. Very comfortable. Only a couple minor complaints. I have muscular legs and these will just barely buckle closed with some effort. If I have too much of my pants down inside of them they will not close. Wish the top of the boot in the toe area had a black pad of some sort for the shift lever too. I have the white boots and It's scuffing the boot quite bad in that spot. Other than that I really like them.
I've used these on multiple rides approx 3000 miles of single and Orv trail. Little stiff at first but seem to get a little better with each use. Not waterproof but good enough for where I ride. I would buy again.
if your getting all black they will do just fine i got the green thinking they were kawi green but there not and also rode 1 time with them and the color was gone on both insides they are really comfortable but the color really is disappointing
I got the white and orange. I was a little bit leary of getting colors instead of just black because I have seen others with white boots that look like crap after a couple of rides. Well I got mine in the mud. Pressure washed them when I washed my bike then wiped them down with simple green and they look like new. Fit is great and wearing them for 4 or 5 hours is no problem.
I've used these for 2 years now and they have held up well. They were stiff at first, but I can now move my ankle pretty well and they're still supportive. I was scared of plastic buckles, but I haven't had the first problem with them in no less than 50 different rides.
I was looking for low cost boots with decent protection and bought these for my 2 kids. They seem strong enough to offer protection and come in a variety of colors which was an attractive option for my kids. The only downside I found was that the buckles are very very stiff so I was always helping my.9 and 11 year old fasten or loosen the buckles. Other than that, the cost, durability and decent protection offered by these boots made them a good option
I bought these boots 90% based on color, and 10% because my old boots no longer fit. I'm not an everyday rider like I used to be, now more or less I do mostly trail riding with the wife but I still want to keep my feet protected. Now to my issue, my work boots and my rubber boots are size 8, my running shoes are a size 9, so I ordered a size 8 assuming they would fit, and they apparently run small. So I returned these and decided to go with a size 10. And they fit just right, if I were to order again, I'd order a size larger then you think you need. Overall boots look nice and are softer then the oneals they replaced.
Bought these boots as a new rider, they are not very comfortable, they are very stiff, they get really hot and blistered my feet up something awful. The single binding for the double toe strap is a pain, it never clips right and will pinch your finger something evil if you try and force it. The only decent thing about this boot is the price. If you're just starting I suggest spending a little extra on some decent boots and saving yourself the money and hassle.
This boot is OK. Nothing spectacular. Boot has held up pretty well. Cheaper boot but not bad. The buckles are bit flimsy and sometimes hard to latch. They feel like they might break easy so I make sure I am careful when I latch them. Overall worth the money paid.
These are nice beginner boots, fits true to size. they are pretty comfortable right out of the box, they only needed a little amount of break in time. my only complaint is the plastic buckles, wish they were metal but plastic is expected in this price range of boot.
These boots are very comfortable and durable for the price they look good as well. If you want to have a nice pair of durable boots for a smaller price these are it.
I have a wide foot and these boots fit great. For 130$ you really cant beat the price good solid boot, straps adjust easily, and does a pretty good job at keeping out water. Broke in fairly fast prob one of the most comfortable boots I have bought in a while. Again if you not looking to break the bank on some boots these are an great buy and always fast shipping with Rocking Mountain ATV!
Over all this is a great quality boot. Only complaint is that it has all plastic straps, but they are a very strong plastic that i have had no problem with. Good fit, comfy, strong, Love them 10/10
I wear a size 13 shoe and have large wide feet. These fit fairly comfortable right out of the box and have been getting better and better since they have actually broken in! Couldn't ask for a better boot!
BEST ANSWER:I have a pretty small foot and I had to send them back and get a size up considering mx boots don't run in half sizes. The best thing to do when purchasing something. Call them they are nice and give good answers. I called and he said that these boots run small and I didn't listen and got my original size. Then when I got them they were too small. Its just much easier to call and ask when wondering about something.

BEST ANSWER:I tried on 12 pair from different mfgrs in the $150-$350 price range. I didn't weigh them BUT I never noticed a difference in weight either. They're all tough to walk in. On the pegs, I was looking for comfort and protection.

I found these boots to be very durable and comfortable. I don't think they are any heavier than any of the other riding boots that I've tried. A very good riding boot at a very good price.
BEST ANSWER:They're kind of waterproof on their own. Water that splashes up on them does not intrude from my experience. If you go stand in a water hole you're going to get soaked though. There is a fabric bootie inside that is sort of exposed down the side of the boot with the buckles and it goes down quite fairly low. The side of the boot that has the buckles is not going to have a good seal that will prevent water from getting to the fabric. You could try some camp dry on the fabric, but I still doubt you could ever stand in any real amount of water.

I used Moneysworth & Best ProTex Water & Stain Shoe Protector and it repels water and dust very well. After riding you can just wipe your boots down with a damp rag and the mud comes right off. You can get it online and it is in a spray on can. It won't wrinkle the leather or change the color of the boot. This won't make them totally waterproof, as they only have a solid piece of material just past the ankle and then the buckles start. However, this will make the leather less permeable to water and the elements.
