Keeping your dirt bike as comfortable as possible ensures that your stamina remains high and you don’t succumb to rider fatigue. Your seat is one of the most important elements of rider comfort. With the right seat, your dirt bike will feel great – you won’t even think about it at all. But if your seat is uncomfortable, you may find yourself thinking about it more than anything else while you ride.
When it’s time for a new dirt bike seat, you can count on Rocky Mountain ATV/MC to provide an excellent selection of choices. Consider some of the benefits you might get by installing an aftermarket solution like Enduro Engineering or SDG seats:
If you’re finding yourself sliding too much during riding and you just want to improve the quality of grip that you get from your seat, you can simply replace the cover. In fact, a pleated seat cover will give you more grip than you ever felt with your stock cover. A new seat cover can also add an extra level of bling to your bike. We carry major names like One Industries, Factory Effex, Attack Graphics and Cycle Works. Take a moment to browse our selection.

This was the first time attempting this... My advice to anyone out there is to go buy a air stapler from hardware store. We bought an Arrow brand at Lowes for $40. Hand stapling is a pain. I stretched the seat as far as I felt comfortable and still wound up with a small bump towards the front. If I had it to do over again I'd probably heat the cover with a heat gun up before installing. I'll have to see if the bump wears in or not...Read All Reviews

I know it says 2001 RM250, but it didn't give me the option for 99. I've read issues with fitment, but it bolted right up to my 99 RM250. I did have to drill out the mounting holes as I'm using larger bolts in my subframe due to previous bolt strip. I haven't ridden with it yet, but I'll update if I experience the hardness that others have compared to stock. It does seem firmer than my stock seat, but my stock seat is 16 years old and I'm sure the foam has seen better days.Read All Reviews

I paid $60 for professional upholster to install it instead of doing it myself. In hindsight I should've just tryed after reading all these reviews. But cover holds up well after about 30 hours on it. No stretches, wrinkles, or rips. Color hasn't faded after being parked on dunes or on the truck for many hours.Read All Reviews
