Dual Sport and Adventure Touring Batteries

Looking for a new dual sport battery? We carry premium options that won’t just keep your bike powered, they might just make it feel like a whole new motorcycle. Whether you are on a cross country journey and need plenty of power for riding at night or just want to ensure your bike always starts, you’ll find the ideal solution right here.

We want to make shopping for a new dual sport battery as painless as possible. That’s why you can use our Parts Finder to identify exactly which batteries will work for your bike. In most cases, we have several options available, including key brands like these:

  • Antigravity
  • Ballistic
  • Bike Master
  • Moto Power
  • Motosport
  • Shorai
  • Tusk
  • Yuasa

However, we don’t just differentiate our selection with a variety of brands; we also have several different types of batteries to best meet your needs and requirements. Here are a few things to consider when buying a new battery for your dual sport bike:

  • A lithium battery can offer significant weight and size savings while still delivering more power than traditional batteries. Some are smaller than a paperback book and weigh less than a pound. They’re perfect for keeping your bike light, saving weight for other important adventure gear.
  • A gel battery can be mounted in any direction (even upside down) with no effect on performance. The unique conductivity properties of a gel battery can allow it to provide starting power in frigid weather.
  • Even traditional acid batteries can come in a variety of options. Be aware that some include the acid without any additional effort on your part, but some require you to add it yourself. Either way, you can often find an exceptional value with a modern acid battery.

Whether you want an upgrade that offers lighter weight and more power or just want to replace an old battery, we’ve got something here for you. Take a look at our dual sport batteries today!

  • YUASA No Maintenance Battery with Acid

YUASA No Maintenance Battery with Acid

    Tom in ME

    It's a fine product.

Original Yuasa lasted 6.5 years. This is dead as a doornail after sitting for two days after its first ride. It worked after the ride, maybe it needs a tender at all times. On the tender, needs a miracle. It did charge enough to make a click, then nothing. Battery seems to really like the battery tender to stay charged. Will update as time passes. I was reluctant about the acid coming separate, but all well. And the price is right. Would I love to have a $200 battery? Not $200 worth. If you do not have e-start, I'm sorry.

  • Shorai Lithium-Iron Battery

    Shorai Lithium-Iron Battery

    Douglas in OR

    Expensive but works well

I put this on my 2014 XCW 300 trying to problem solve what was an issue with my electric start not working correctly. Unfortunately the battery wasn't the issue the starter was. But with that said I'm not unhappy I purchased this battery. If I had this battery to begin with my starter wouldn't have gone out as soon. I had to push the button multiple times to get it to start putting the starter through extra work causing it to go out after 4,000 miles on my bike. One push of the button now and it starts. It's expensive and that is why the 4 stars. You really should use a Shorai charger to charge it once a year. The charger is also expensive. IT IS RECOMMENDED AT COLD STARTS THAT YOU KICK YOUR 300 KTM. IF YOU DO THIS YOUR STARTER WILL LAST MUCH LONGER. COLD STARTS ARE VERY HARD ON YOUR STARTER.

  • Ballistic EVO2 Battery

    Ballistic EVO2 Battery

Great Battery - major change from the lead junk

Works great, the only issue I had was the smaller size - compared to the original overseas junk (I ALWAYS BUY MADE IN THE USA - WHEN I CAN - too bad I ended up with a KLR for the commute to work), called you guys - came up with the solution of my manufacturing a hardwood spacer (or shell) with vent holes for heat reduction. Also I will add baffled plastic around the Blallistic battery to cushion it - that should do it. VERY HAPPY with your produces and Website.
