UTV Roost Deflectors

When you hop into your UTV for a trek across some gnarly terrain, it’s important to make sure that you’re ready for whatever may come your way. By design, UTVs already offer more protection than other powersport vehicles since they come stock with roll cages and seatbelts. But what if you’d like additional personal protection? UTV roost deflectors might be just the thing – especially if you don’t have a windshield on your machine. If you’re traveling along with a couple of buddies ahead of you, a roost deflector can keep you safe from any debris that they might kick up.

We’ve got a large variety of UTV roost deflectors, and we stock the big names you expect to see in this industry: Answer, EVS, Fox, Leatt, MSR, O’Neal, Scott, Six Six One, Thor and many others. While all of them have provided products that fulfill one primary function – chest protection – there are many different styles and designs to choose from. Some are flashy; some are subtle. Some are extensive; others are simple. Some are designed with a variety of additional features. But all of them do the job and do it well. Browse our selection today to see for yourself.

    Not my favorite

Comes in handy on cooler days. but I cut the ends of the sleeves off as they are tight around the wrist. Im 6'2 250 also. You will need to superglue the zippers on the kidney belt/back protector to keep them from coming loose, too bulky for hot days.

Pros: - The integration with neck brace is great along with the options of running it under and over jackets and jerseys. Quality construction. Good rib and side protection. Good comfort on the torso. Cons: - Shoulder pads need to be better attached to the body section, they come unhooked very easily. Also the tend to slide around to the backside of the upper arms. Would like to see bigger and more protective shoulder and arm pads with an easier system of attachment, removal and articulation. Cons: With riding in it for a few months now the design of the shoulder and arm pads is real frustrating. They come off when putting on, the pop off while riding, they slide down the arm or move to the back of the arm/shoulder. - I have a hard time believing that they actually did any product testing before releasing. - I have all integration point wrapped in duct tape to keep it in place.

    Fits well works good

I am a big guy so most Chest protectors look like I'm wearing a plastic bra. The Airframe is the only one that comes in an XL size and at least covers my chest. I'm on my third airframe. On most I have had to re glue the shoulders as they are glued in with a small layer of silicone. I have ripped a few mounts out of the plastic and wish there was a little more meat there so I didn't have to buy new ones as often. If someone else made a chest protector that fit a somebody who is 6'4" tall and all torso I would probably give it a try but for now this is really the only option.

i havent used this on the track yet but it fits very well and is light weight you still have plenty of movement without feeling restricted. i previously bought a bigger leatt protector that i found to be very protective but way to hot and constricting i paid close to 260 for it and wore it three times and it sitting in the garage now. I am very happy with the way this fits and looks under the jersey! time will tell how long it holds up!
