I use this bracket for mostly off road trail riding on my KTM with an under bar mount steering stabilizer. Keep in mind I also have risers between my handlebar and the Scotts stabilizer mount. Its works just perfect and does not come loose. Only issue is you cant move the position much without the screws hitting the stabilizer, unless I raise the bar up more with another spacer. Other than that its fine and does not move.Read All Reviews

I wasn't sure this was the right path to go at first. Everyone is running Lowrance units and there were a few complaints on the forums about this PIDD. After installing the unit, I was very happy with the way it looks in the dash. It could use a bigger screen, but it serves a purpose and the screen size really isn't an issue. RiderX and Polaris have just released a software update that brings many new features to the unit including new Speedo Screen, Nav updates and Audio support so it acts like a source unit (need to buy new 2016 cables). You won't get RCA out, but if you are running Polaris Speakers it works perfect or you can cut and solder on RCA plugs to connect to your own amp. With the unit being software updatable, it makes the longevity of purchase much longer and it seems Polaris and RiderX are really putting effort into maintaining the software.Read All Reviews

I do a lot of multi-day, several hundred mile dual sport/dirt biking rides in Northern California and Nevada. I've used 2 other models/brands in the past and there is no comparison. I have this mounted and hard wired to my KTM 500 EXC so I don't ever need to worry about my batteries running out. I have also been using this for geocaching with my family with helped justify the price with my wife :-) If you do GPS based off road rides this is your best choice.Read All Reviews
