Whether on the track or trail, don’t go unprotected. ATV chest protectors not only protect from roost thrown up by other machines, they can also save you from the pain of that unexpected branch around the corner or that fall you didn’t plan on.
Fortunately, there are plenty of options. Many chest protectors are designed to fit over your jersey, and they are built to look great as well as offer the fortification you need. But not all of them are designed this way, so if you don’t like the idea of obstructing your jersey, don’t sweat it. We also have roost deflectors that can fit underneath your jersey.
Today’s technology enables chest protectors the ability to offer an exceptional level of protection without restricting movement or otherwise making you feel uncomfortable. We’ve got the top brands that are known for quality, including Leatt, EVS, Fox Racing, Thor and many others. Take a look to see for yourself.

The system is basically modular so you can wear just the shoulder and elbow pads. The chest projector is integrated with the kidney belt and goes on separate from the shoulder/elbow pads. I had a six six one type before and the Acerbis unit has much better protection. The back brace does not interfere with riding pants.Read All Reviews

My Son gave this too me for Christmas Last year... Therefore, I have used it for 1 year I love that my arms and chest and back are all protected in one suite i ride with a t-shirt underneath and just the body armor on most rides plenty warm.. Draw-back is that the back snaps come off sometimes when taking off your backpack I may put some black tape on it or super glue the snaps on.. I wash it in the wash machine with the rest of my gear..I do not take the plastic off...Just throw the whole thing in *Best part of the suit is that the arm protection does not slide up and down or a round... Love it!!Read All Reviews

I have switched to this protector from a different brand built with hard plastics in the sensitive locations. Wearing the Leatt I barely notice that I wear a protector at all. That for it first felt like you are lacking protection but a few crashes later I must say it works just as well as those hard plastic versions. I had to exchange the first model because it was way too small. I would say sizing does run on the smaller end. Also as I have read on many reviews that the zippers on Leatt products are being reason for complains it is the same here - not very trustworthy! Having to take out all foam pads for washing the protector is a little annoying and a hassle but since those multi layers of foam pads seem to be taped together I would not recommend to wash it with the pads installed. Overall its a good product but the price is definitely high!Read All Reviews

To give some info about myself: 23 yr old male 180 lbs. 6'4: I ordered the L/XL and it fits perfect. I have noticed that if you strap on the kidney belt too tight, the zippers in the back want to come undone. I did notice it getting a little warm, and it was a nice, cool, 60 degree day, but I also had 3 layers on. I've laid my bike down 5 or 6 times with this on and haven't felt a thing. It's a huge lifesaver and I wouldn't ride without it on. It is bulkier than a standard roost protector, but offers superior protection in my opinion. I wanted the extra protection because I'm a new rider and understood that I would be most likely falling over quite a bit. I'd rate this as a must have, along with a helmet, gloves, and riding boots.Read All Reviews
