An extremely popular choice for a do-it-all tire, the Bridgestone Battlecross X30 Intermediate Terrain Tire has made a name for itself by having great wear, predictable handling, great grip, and a few unique features.

First are the large, raised tread bars spread around the center belt of lugs. These not only help support weight and extend tread life, they also increase the contact patch between the tire and ground.

The other lugs are specialized as well with asymmetric patterns full of convex tread blocks giving large amounts of grip. The rear tire even has cooling "fans" that improve heat dissipation in the tire so the psi won’t climb during a race and change your tire’s handling.

    Specs:
  • Great option for an all-around tire on most surfaces
  • Raised center block pattern enhances traction during braking and acceleration
  • Asymmetric front tire block pattern with optimized block placement achieves stable grip during braking and cornering
  • The edges of the convex blocks catch the track surface and achieve high grip on a wide range of terrains
  • Provides high contact pressure against the track surface to enhance traction
  • Rear tire has cooling "fins" to improve heat dissipation for consistent performance over race distances

I definitely recommend the Bridgestone Battlecross X30 tires
I absolutely love the Bridgestone Battlecross X30. This is my third set of them over the last 6 years. I always get great traction on the many different types of terrain I ride. I definitely recommend these tires!

Spectacular performance in all conditions at an unbelievable price... I'm totally sold on these Battlecross X30 tires!
PNW woods/ST B rider on a 2019 HusTE300i running nitro Mousse with Battlecross X30 tires. These X30s rate right up there with some of the best rubber available. They hook up in everything I've put them in and I can't seem to wear them down. For the money definitely the best all around Enduro tire I've ever tried.

good MX tire but not for the woods
The X30's are a good MX tire but I was not impressed with them as a woods/off road tire for rocky terrain. I ran my normal pressure of 11 rear and 12 front and found them too stiff for off road. bounced around way more than the S12 Michelins I used to run. Grip was good in almost all situations. wear after a week in KY rocky terrain was equal to my buddy running a Starcross 5. Thing was his starcross 5 medium was much more compliant over the rocks and roots. I will likely try something different next time around.

Great Tires, Great Price
These tires are hard to beat for the money. There are a good intermediate tire that works good on all surfaces. Great especially for the 19/16 big wheel crowd.

X30, Front - 80/100x21
60-something MXer here, practice and race in SoCal so I have everything from sandy, to mucky clay that turns into concrete in the afternoon tracks to ride. I have these tires on my 450 SXF and my 250 SX.

I have used these tires (front and back) for a year and found the front tire works a little bit better on the 450 than on the 250 smoker. I think it is because of the weight bias on the 450 is more front heavy entering the corners.

On the 450 the tire works great in everything but the wet, sloppy clay in the morning practices and first motos. It does ok in the muck but it is an intermediate tire and seems to want to slide a bit more that some other tires I have used.

Where it really shines is when the muck starts to dry out making the loamy. I can stuff it inside even with no berm and it bites. It even does pretty well in the sand and that was a pleasant surprise. When the tracks dry out into concrete hard dirt it still hooks up well. It does seem to push a little bit in the silty dirt at the exit of the corners.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this tire in all conditions but the clay muck. After trying other tires I come back to these X30 fronts.

bang for your buck
my dad bought these tires for me and I had no idea what to expect and well all I can say is that they are a good tire. they grip well in most conditions except for soft the rear will spin and they lasted me over a year and I ride pretty regularly and they still have tread left but the front tire can wash out at times in softer conditions but overall a awesome tire for a great deal.

For pacific northwest motocross tracks would I be better suited buying a 80/100x21 or the 90/100x21 in the x30 tire?
Adam H on Apr 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Optimum tire size and type will vary depending on soil type, track conditions and bike application. As a general guideline, if the track is softer and has a lot of ruts, the 80/100 will be preferable because it will not tend to grab the ruts as much as the wider 90/100. If the soil condition is dry without ruts, the 90/100 will probably be the better choice.

Thanks!
Are these tires tubeless?
Monte S on Apr 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They can be if you buy a tubeless system but no their just like every other bike tire
Is this tire reversible? Wouldn't it be better to buy a reversible tire for a more casual trail rider?
Joshua M on Jun 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I also am just a casual weekend trail rider. I’m not sure by what you mean in a reversible tire. This tire isn’t a directional tire. I put a set of these on my loaner/extra bike, 04 Kx250f. They work great never had someone complain about not having traction. When I was riding that bike I never complained either. I ride in very muddy winters though summers. Over all I’d recommend this Bridgestone, The Michelin, or what I have on my crf250x a pirelli scorpion mx extra x.
Can anyone tell me how these mount with either a Michelin or Nitro Mousse? Any problems holding the bead on the Nitro?
Nancy R on Sep 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I’ve ran these with Tubliss without any problems. Decent tire but doesnt not live very long. Everyone I know using bibs are running a Kenda or IRC tire...
