  Review is based on a 2018 Yamaha XSR900 used mostly for commuting and some spirited riding. The price is pretty affordable. They are very soft and a breeze to install. However, they are the first non-Bridgestone tire that I've installed on the bike. Those tires are much harder, so the installation of this tire was comparatively almost enjoyable lol. That said, I'm only getting about 3-4k miles out of this rear tire, whereas I would get 4-6k depending on the model of Bridgestone. The Continental also doesn't provide as much confidence in turns compared to the Battlax S line.

  Fantastic rear tire for the V-Strom

  Fantastic rear tire for the V-Strom. Great on pavement and very good on fire roads. They're not knobby tire so don't expect them to be.

  These are very good tires, I get excellent mileage with good handling performance on road and off !! They have a nice tread pattern with tread in the center of the tire which helps to see when the tire is at the end of it's usable life.

  Continental TKC70 Dual Sport Rear Motorcycle Tire

  TKC-70 Rear Tire on an Africa Twin

  First time with a Continental TKC-70 tire. In May of 2022, while riding from Colorado to Douglas, AZ, I noticed a problem with the [then] rear tire when looking closely for nails and such during a refuel stop. Decided to keep going and watch the condition. After two days of riding and now in Silver City, NM, I don't want to leave the area without a new tire. Local powersports store wouldn't touch it since my AT is a street bike. Finding a 150/70-18 aggressive dual-sport tire nearby was impossible. Called RMATV&MC. Received the TKC-70 in two days (Friday) and a local shop installed it Saturday morning. The TKC-70 has been a good tire and now at 5,400 miles, the tire has tread and could be replace sometime in '24. This TKC-70 has been on some gravel roads; but it's pretty-much a street tire on my street wheels.

  So far so good! Switched my back tire on 690 supermoto to hopefully not go through it so fast , not quite the grip of s22 but not a problem. I'm running with s22 on front and the conti on the back
