Lighter but can pinch the inner tube
If you use these rim locks, be sure to use caution to not pinch the inner tube. The deal is, that these are so much smaller that the inner tube won't push them out when you inflate the inner tube. Instead, the inner tube can wrap around the rim lock and get pinched between the tire and the rim lock. When you tighten the rimlock's nut, you will be destroying your inner tube. With a standard rim lock, the large flexible rubber will serve to prevent this situation.
    That all said, thumbs down.

    Nice product
The quality of motion pro is known and this product is no exception. Very functional and look good. My stock rim locks have a rubber coating and have not fair well over the years of tire changes.Motion pro rim lock seem tougher and are lighter. I also like the look of the nut.

    Motion Pro LiteLoc Rim Lock
Good quality, light, rounded edges lessen the chance of the tube getting between the lock and the rim.

    trick locks
These rim locks are ultralite but have a great bite on the rim and they finish nicely on the rim. Look cool but as with any Motion Pro item they just scream Quality. It's nice to buy something that someone actually takes pride in manufacturing and not just another piece of junk.

    solid clamp upon your tire!
Nothing grips better than these. The stems will corrode so apply anti seize if you ride wet. The padding supplied makes the rim lock rest accurately into the rim cavity which results in firmer grip upon your tire.

Best rim lock around, far better than all OEM units, it gets a good grip on tyre and prevents tyre slip, so good i have recommended it to others

Motion Pro lite front rim lock
It's a rim lock so what can be bad. The better reply is what they have done is make a rim lock that is light yet durable. Nothing like the standard metal and rubber rim locks that come standard on many bikes. These are the best I have ever used and RM has the best price on them. I'll be buying more for my race set of wheels.

Bought these a few years ago for my WR250R and they had a foam pad on them. Just bought a new front for another set of WRR wheels and there is no foam. Missing or has this been removed from the product?
Robert MacQuarrie on Mar 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Dear Robert, The foam pad comes with the rear size 2.15 only. In testing this pad has been found to assist in keeping spoke tension taught on ether side of the rim lock. Motion Pro did not find that the pad was needed on the front 1.6 rim lock.

My rim has a 222 stamped on it. Does this fit?
    A shopper on Jul 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Whether you are looking for a rear or front wheel rim lock you need to know your rim size. Assuming you have a dirt bike, your front rim should be a 21" diameter and the rear is either an 18" diameter or 19" diameter. Most off road dirt bikes have front rim that is 1.6" wide and a rear rim width of 2.15" wide and these numbers should be stamped in the side wall of the rims, so look for these numbers on your rim. Verify in the tech specifications of the part that it fits your rim size.
