These are a great option to avoid traditional tubes and the challenges that come with tubes. The system was easy to install, if you can change a tire, you can install this system. The benefit of the system is being able to run lower tire pressures than a tube. And boy the reduction in air pressure really increases rear tire traction. We ride a lot of single track in the Midwest and being able to drop tire pressure in rear tire between six and eight psi makes a big difference on the roots, rocks, sand, and mud. I've been running the system in my bike for over 100 hours now with no issues. I do check tire pressure before every ride, but rarely have to add air. I would recommend the system to anyone looking to get away from traditional tubes, but don't want to make the commitment to foam inserts and having to change those as they breakdown.

Having a back up, spare replacement tube is always a great idea. New tech recommends replacing the bladder once a year or every 100 hours. Whichever comes first. From experience, I can tell you I would strictly adhere to this recommendation.
