  • IRC VE35 Enduro Tire

    It Works

The IRC VE35 Enduro Front has been on my FE450 twice now. I'll very likely put it back on the next time. I ride this bike as my Dual Sport Adventure Bike. Coming from a KTM1090r I like comfort and trustworthiness on paved twisties and country HWY's. So I ride county DIRT roads (graded roads) and fire service roads in national forests. I do not ride single track. This is Dual Sport for me. This tire has an old pattern that was used by the military in WWII (again, Dual Sport). It, along with the TKC80 shares this long tested tread pattern which at speed is surprisingly comfortable pounding down paved roads (low vibrations in the bars compared to others). It feels fine in all circumstances on paved surfaces. On county dirt roads it feels fine at all times. For me if I think about a tire while riding, there is something wrong with it. If I never think about it, it did it's job and I was able to just ride, and focus on the FUN that I came to find. Wear is surprisingly good. I am the guy that considers half life, end of life in all my tires. In doing so, I ride at all times with the best a tire has to offer me, again focused on FUN and not baby-siting a half worn out, worn down tire. This tire, for the price, is dialed in very near perfectly for Dual Sport riding. It is not perfect, but is is so equally balanced through all one sees on a Mid-South ride that I'm going to have a difficult time buying a different tire. This says a lot for this tire, as my previous KTM1090r was so mean to tires; I had to buy the most expensive tires available then do it again at half life. Meaning I was mentally trained to get the best and shut up complaining about it. What a refreshing surprise to find what I need at a fraction of the price I was expecting to pay.

  • Kenda K270 Dual Sport Rear Tire

Rated 5.00 out of five stars.★★★★★

    K270, good for XT250.

Replaced oem trail wing bridgestones on my XT 250. A very good choice. Over 1/2 my riding is on gravel, dirt, rocks and roots the rest on pavement to get there. Kendas work much better all the way around. Did both front and rear with heavy duty tubes.
