At a basic level the Terrain TX is a heavily protected boot with a stitched sole that provides a very familiar feel and very reliable amount of performance.

But several of the refined features are what really make the Terrain TX stand out above other options. The largest feature to call out is the hinge system found at the medial and lateral sides of the ankle. It supports the ankle from side to side movement, and promotes movement during flexion and extension.
