BEST REAR TIRE FOR NEW ENGLAND RIDING

Comments On Dec 29, 2015:This tire is by far the best rear for nasty technically terrain. Rocks, roots and mud. Tons of traction everywhere no matter what even in sand its pretty decent but that's a rare sight in NE. It is a pretty soft tire so grips on rocks very well but need to run a little more psi than you might with other tires..

MT 16 Garacross

Comments On Jan 29, 2015:Amazing grip on rough rock and root climbs. Tends to pack in and hold heavy clay/mud. Wears fast on as expected on any DS pavement sections.

A Must Have for the NorthEast

Comments On Jan 09, 2015:Starting using this tire from a recommendation by a friend and it has been the perfect tire for the rocks, roots, creeks, mud, and nasty climbs. This tire just hooks up everywhere. I run these usually between 6 - 10 psi with a tubliss kit.
They don't last that long, but not many tires that actually hook up do.
Highly recommend for riding in the Northeast or anywhere there's a mix of mud to rocks and roots. Also performs well in loam and hardpack.

Okay for DOT

Comments On Dec 31, 2014:This tire works on the street and is durable but it's only average in the woods. It gives you plenty of warning when it starts to slip but I'd rather have a tire that hooks up.
