Bottom End For Days!
Put these in my 2014 YZ250F and man did it give me the bottom end that I was looking for. I did these along with a HC Piston and it gave it enough bottom to drop a tooth on the rear sprocket.

Money well spent
Easy to install. I also installed a Hot Cams stage 1 exhaust camshaft with this intake camshaft. Good power gains especially in the low to mid rpm range.

I bought a set of these Hot Cams for my YFZ450 and didn't notice much a power difference. So I decided to send my motor to Status Motorsports in Whittier California and the guys over there did their magic to my cylinder head. They Ported it and did some trick work with the valve-train and they used CNC machines. WoW! Now my bikes runs great and fast! It produced 56 horsepower on the dyno. Now I like these cams.

Excellent Upgrade!
I installed the intake cam on my 2006 LTR and am very impressed with the performance gains. Wow, it's almost like a different motor. It has more torque down low, more midrange, and revs higher. I also have a Yoshimura pipe, Yoshimura PIM, and a K&N filter. I wish I would have gotten this upgrade earlier.

Works great with other mods
If you are installing Hot Cams they had better be a part of a whole build plan. I installed them without any other mods and didn't like them at all. Its after I completed the entire build with higher compression, pipe, opened up the airbox, DYNA CDI, KibbleWhite Valves, and a larger carb that they really performed well. Very much recommended as one part of a build plan.

Would these fit a yhammha yfz450r?
matt s on Jul 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Matt, the ones I purchased are for an RMZ 250 Dual Overhead Camshaft arrangement. Each set of camshafts is built to an individual make and model camshaft / journal arrangement (the polished surface the camshaft rotates in). You didn't give the year of your yfz, but I believe most of them are a five-valve head, which calls for camshafts specific to that design.
Can I run the stage 1 cams with a cyl works high compression piston kit? If so do I need to change the stock fuel mapping on my 06 LTR 450?
Tom D on Oct 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you can run them. It is highly advised to get yourself a new map to take advantage of the potential power.
