    Special Notes:

    • *Will not work with Honda CRF/X models.
    • Won’t work with KTM models that have triple clamp pinch bolts on the backside of the clamps
    • The ultimate mounting system for alloy handguards. Cycra Triple Clamp mounts are made from 6061-T6 billet alloy so you know they will be tough.
    • They include a set of bolts for the handguard mounts.
    • Note that if you plan to have narrow bars some drilling of the bar hole locaton may be needed. These are for the serious racer who wants maximuim strength and freedom of control placement.
    • Will not work with Honda CRF/X models.

This is the way to go

Comments On Feb 10, 2016:Much more solid than bar mounts. I'll never go back.

OK if you don't crash more than occationally

Comments On Jan 14, 2016:Less than 2 years into riding, and not shy about trying stuff on the trail I tend to drop the bike a lot. These are tall, and they tend to fold over the top of the triple clamp upper clamp after the first fall. Then they continue to do so until they can't fold much any more. After about 8 months one side eventually failed all together.
Also these don't come with the triple clamp longer bolts, so plan to hit up your moto shop or hardware store for something 1/2" or 12.5mm longer than what is currently on your bike.
If they left a machined gusset in there on the side opposite the flat part that sits agains the triple, these would likely last a lot longer. As it is I went to the double T type setup from Cycra. I think they call it the Pro Solution or something. Basically a bridge between the two hand guards, with two bar mounts that bolt up just outside of each side of the handlebar mount. These have proven bomber.

    stout solid mounts well engineered

Comments On Jan 04, 2016:tough mounts, keep the bark busters in line. the only reason I don't rate them as 5 stars is because I believe they make the bars feel more rigid and increase vibration felt while riding.

Work well, but need bolts to install

Comments On Dec 14, 2015:For anyone planning to use these you will need replacement triple clamp bolts that are 10mm longer than the original bolts. I installed these on my DRZ-400S and needed M8 x 60mm bolts for this installation. The original bolts are M8 x 50mm flange bolts. I tried using off the shelf flange bolts and it turns out the flange is too large, Suzuki uses custom hardware so your options are to use a non flange bolt... and the hardware store had stainless steel bolts up to 50mm long, the 60mm long ones were black oxide coated. I didn't like this option so I spent quite a bit of time searching and found that Probolt makes stainless steel M8 x 60 bolts with a smaller flange. These were expensive (30 bucks shipped for a 5 pack) but worth it. I'm happy with the installation but if I had it to do again I'd probably just get the bar clamps since they would require no additional hardware.

Fits but pushes out front number plate

Comments On Jan 30, 2015:I'm a tall rider and I put some riser blocks under my bars. Then when I installed the new mounting to the triple clamp my number plate did a weird bend it still works just looks a little funny. Since the bike is new YZ 250FXF. I'm sure they will come out with ones that fix a little better. But I like these mounts better then the bar mounts.

    High Quality but...

Comments On Dec 04, 2014:Make sure they will fit your application. I had to do a lot of Mod's on my 2006 WR450F. I'm going back to the handlebar clamps.

    Awesome bark busters

Comments On Apr 27, 2014:I race hare scrambles and ya I hit a tree dead on in 2nd gear 3/4 throttle saved my hand and the brackets and bars held up just fine! I would buy these again for sure.

    No More Spinning Barkbusters

Comments On Apr 17, 2013:I put these on my WR450 and love them. They keep the barkbusters from slipping during a bad crash and clean up the handlebar area. I also use them as my new tie-down point for the bike straps. The standard hooks fit great on them and it eliminates the possibilities of scratching my black bars, pinching a one of the wires that run up my bars, and they are easier to hook onto these clamps than my oversize bars!

    almost gave it 5 stars

Comments On Mar 23, 2013:if it came with extended replacement bolts, it would get 5 stars. the stock bolts are a bit short when adding this upgrade. the mounts themselves are awsome and very durrable.
