The one-piece design of the Tech 10 begins with the full-grain leather, microfiber upper construction that supports the TPU protective shell. This TPU shell has been redesigned for greater protection from impact and heat but with a much sleeker profile. Now you get a huge, flat, medial boot face that fully contacts the bike for great control while reducing the chance of anything catching on the boot itself. Large plates of TPU cover the shin and calf areas with the wonderful Astars flex blade system integrated into them for that additional extension and flexion protection. Self-adjusting, self-cleaning buckles secure the Tech 10’s multiple density TPU and are precisely mounted to reduce the change of damage during a crash. The lower encases your foot in protection by using an anti-slip heel cup and reinforced, low-profile toe-box that are molded directly into the dual-density, steel shanked sole for a slim design that still lasts through years of hard riding.

The features extend inward with the bootie design housing the dual-hinged ankle support brace which limits rotational movement while promoting ankle extension for easy shifting and braking. The booty sits on top of an anatomical foot bed and multi-density insole that is surrounded by a host of materials which limit abrasion and get rid of moisture to keep your foot comfortable.

  Indianapolis is one of those American cities that has a long and loving relationship with racing. In fact, some would say Indianapolis was the birthplace of American Motorsports. Sanctioned Motorcycle Racing in the city dates back to 1909, and if you fast-forward about 83 years, AMA Supercross makes its debut in the American Motorsports hub.
  
  Similarly to Indianapolis, Alpinestars has a rich heritage in motorsports and more specifically in motocross. The company was founded in 1963 and shortly thereafter went on to make the world’s first motocross specific boot. Just 9 years later, Alpinestars entered their revolutionary motocross boot in a prestigious competition held by the Fashion Academy in Turin, Italy. Alpinestars won the monumental award that year, and went on for a repeat win from the Academy again in 1973. Understandably proud of this achievement, the Oscar by Alpinestars logo was born.
