Just a little peace of mind.
Wasn't for sure where I was going to mount it. But I definitely think all enduro type bikes should come with this as O.E.M equipped. I knew it was going to be behind the front # plate are in the air box. But I was not sure of the size of it when I purchased it. And I really wasn't wanting to put it in the air box. But on my bike luckily it fit perfect behind front # plate. This is just me personally. I run Engine Ice coolant and at its price. I'm not crazy about it boiling over with nothing but the ground to catch it!!!

Generic but acceptable
Works OK but would prefer different bottle shapes to choose from for limited areas to mount this puke bottle. Located the unit outboard on the right radiator frame mound. Since my KTM has a 5.4 gallon Acerbis tank do not have the stock panels covering the radiator so the bottle location does inhibit air flow just a bit - but on a KTM 300 there is not a lot of places to site a puke bottle! Still wanted something like this for some piece of mind on longer trail rides.

save your water
Running cross country in the desert at high temp, you would normally lose coolant whenever you stop or slow down through a patch of rocks. I use these little burp tanks on two YZ450 desert bikes.

Overflow tank
Great little tank, small enough to fit in many places and enough tubing options can work for most applications.

Installed the tank on the backside of the left radiator and paired it with a CV4 high pressure cap and BOOM! No more coolant loss even in the tight nasty stuff.

Great Coolant Recovery Tank
I was going through bottles of coolant on my KX100, nearly a bottle per ride, so I bought and installed this tank. It is small and was very easy to install. I put it on the right side, just under an oversized fuel tank, behind the radiator. It works great! I still haven't emptied another bottle of coolant since installing it several months, and rides, ago. It has already paid for itself in saving coolant.

Gets the job done
It does exactly what it's supposed to do, is an easy install, and no more losing my coolant! It fits in a variety of places which is nice. I placed mine behind my front number plate as there was not enough room in the air box because of the battery on my KTM 450. The price is a little steep for what you get but at the end of the day it did what I needed and I am satisfied

Not for me.
After buying this recovery tank and seeing it first hand when I received it, I realized it would not do what I wanted it to do. I sent it back and got a full refund, Thanks RM

What are dimensions?
Alex C on Jun 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: L 5 1/2" x W 3 3/4" X D 1 7/8". This bottle is worth every penny, catches coolant that would be wasted on the ground. An absolute must for every dirtbike.
How does this produce recycle coolant back into the system?
Jacob P on May 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This little bottle is a great product, not sure why every stock bike doesn't come with an overflow tank.
Ok, so how it works. This overflow stores a small amount of coolant and connects to the radiator "breather". When your bike gets hot, it dumps coolant out of the breather and, in the past, onto the ground. With an overflow bottle, it goes into the bottle and it stored instead of being wasted. When the bike cools, it will draw the expelled coolant back into the system to restore the same level as before it was hot. Your cooling system is under pressure and will seek to maintain a safe level of coolant. This bottle keeps the coolant from being wasted onto the ground. A must for any bike, especially for off-road bikes that travel far from the truck.
