The Cable Guide is a must-have for KTM’s, Husqvarna’s, Beta’s and Husaberg’s using standard, above bar-mount steering stabilizer systems. The guide keeps the cables away from the stabilizer, stabilizer adjustment knobs, handlebar clamp and handlebars preventing wear and cable snags that could lead to an expensive, inconvenient or dangerous failure.

The Cable Guides are machined from billet 6061 Aluminum. All mounting fasteners are 18-8 stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Installation time is less than five minutes using the included hex wrench.

The Cable Guide was designed, built and tested by off-road riders and racers just like you. All of Clean Speed products are made with pride in the USA.

Never knew I needed one until...
My throttle cables somehow got hooked on the post for my steering stabilizer. Yup, throttle was stuck open. Let's just be glad I happened to be riding a 450 like I was on my 2-stroke and had the clutch in for a tight corner. I hit that kill switch so fast. This little thing might save somebody's life. It's worth it.
Only badmouthing I have for it was that the material is weak and I already had it bend while I was just putting it on.

    Works great
This item was very easy to install with complete instructions. Fitment was perfect. It keeps the cable away from the stabilizer(GPR) and from pinch points.

Doesn't really make a difference. supposedly this will keep the cable from getting stuck on the stabilizer but I don't see how often that will happen. Super light weight, I had $30 to blow so I tried it out, probably wouldn't buy again. I would find another safety for the throttle cable. This is for an over bar stabilizer setup.

Works like it should, could be a bit more durable.
It works just as it should. I have one on every bike that has a top mounted steering stabilizer. My only wish is that it was more durable. I have gone through two of these. They don't take falls extremely well. At the same time my Dad has it on his bike too and still on the first one he bought.

What size do you need 1/2 or 9/16 for a Scotts top mount - 2016 KTM 450 SX-F?
    Richard S on Feb 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You'll want to use the 9/16" (14.3mm). But I recommend measuring the bar you have just to make sure that it's the same size.
