    Split mirror mount
Clamp worked for my needs, had to buy one longer bolt to mount the KFI winch control. This was the only split clamp I could find to do what I needed. Could not use other style clamps that slipped on. My ATV has heated grip's.
Plus Rockeymountain sells mirrors with the correct size and thread pitch. No brainier bought both..

    Get some stainless hardware!
Clamp works great, but the bolts rust as soon as you look at them.

    Poor RAM bracket.
The mirrors are great - RM ATV is great. The actual bracket, that goes around your handlebar is poor. There are bolts but no screws to tighten against (supposed to tighten inside the bracket). I would not buy this bracket - ordered new ones from RM at $18 each - that have a bolt and screw on each side. RAM can do much better.

Works well bought for multiple bike. Definitely recommend it
Works great and doesn't take up more handlebar space only gave 4 stars because a small wipeout on trail broke the top off but better it than my mirror.

Does what it needs to be
Easy to mount to standard handlebars with a secure fit. Perfect for those needing to add mirrors to the road bike to make them road legal. Accepts commonly available mirrors which is great.
Easy to take off if you're hitting the trails.

Works good a little bit on the expensive side for what it is but if you need it what else can you do.

I have a 2007 KTM 990 Adventure. I broke the mirror mount on the throttle side. It is made into the master cylinder. Expensive. Do you know if this item will fit the oem clamp? I need that right angle to make it work. Thanks
    A shopper on Jan 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know for sure if it will be an exact match to your 990, but I measured the bolt holes center to center and they were 30mm apart. You can then compare that to your stock clamp and see if they'll bolt up. I bet they will.
    How wide is the mount?
    JIM S on Apr 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My mount measured .800's of an inch or about 51/64's of an inch wide.
I'd like to purchase the Double Take Split Clamp Assembly for my KTM 525 EXC, Which mirrors and mounts pair with this product?
    Joe N on Apr 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to fit any of the double take mirrors. You need to purchase a ball to screw in the split clamp and then the RAM adustable stem, which comes in multiple lengths.

One bit of advice, get some threadlock and apply it to the ball that you attach to the split clam because the vibrations and motion of the bike can easily loosen the threads and make your mirror spin spin spin when you least want it to.
do these come in pairs and is the right side mount reverse threaded like the OEM Yamahas?
    scott h on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used this on my KTM and there is no difference for right or left. They are standard right handed thread. If you want the mirror further forward just mount 180 degrees.
what is the size and thread in this clamp?
    A shopper on Aug 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Don't order this. Look for the RAM Torque Handlebar Rail / Base - comes with bolts AND screws.
