  Garmin Zumo XT Handlebar Mount Kit

  3 Accessories in 1 Kit

  This "kit" is essentially 3 separate Garmin accessories that Rocky Mtn ATV/MC has conveniently packaged together: handlebar kit, mount bracket, wiring harness. In addition to what's depicted in the photo, it includes zip ties, mounting bracket spacers, handlebar U-bolt, screws, washers & locknuts. It allows for a complete installation on a 2nd motorcycle or ATV; only the Zumo XT itself moves from bike to bike. Latching the GPS to the new mounting bracket initially took an uncomfortable amount of force to engage (much more than the bracket that came with the GPS which engaged easily), but eventually broke in. And while it doesn't seem like there's much mating surface to latch, the installation remains sturdy. It does, however, have a bit of a "hair trigger" and the slightest interaction with the latch can potentially release the GPS - which, btw, does not have provisions for a tether. No different than the bracketry that came with the GPS and a nice installation overall.

  Second setup for second bike.

  As stated in other Garmin parts review, this was purchased to have GPS mount on second motorcycle. Too much trouble to move mount and harness from one bike to the other. Like all of Garmin's offerings, extremely well made.

  Second setup for second bike

  Purchased additional part to equip second motorcycle. Moving harness and mount from one to the other is too time consuming. I had all of the other parts I needed on hand, as the Gamin setup is exactly the same as the RAM B ball type mounts.
