    The way to go
Fits the 85sx/TC85 as well even though it’s not shown as a product for those bikes. The OEM shift arm splines seems to hold up better than the aftermarket, so for $30 this is the way to go.

    Quality Upgrade
Not sure what Husqvarna was thinking but both foot brake AND shift level tips were too narrow stock. Makes a big difference, no more botched shifts 'feeling' for the shifter.

Was surprised it was not plug-n-play. You have to remove factory spun rivet to remove OEM tip, not too hard, but plan for this. Very high quality part, if not a bit pricey. Highly recommended.

    Nice Upgrade.
Originally purchased to match the Husqvarna break pedal tip, matches perfectly. I didn't think the 7mm wider tip would make a difference but it does.

Just a note I had to use a grinder to remove the rivet on the OEM tip. Make sure you use loctite on the bolt for the new tip and don't tighten the bolt all the way so it still will move and return back to the normal position if hit.

7 mm wider? As in front to back? Or is it "longer" than stock? (from pivot point to tip)
    BRIAN A on Jul 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 7mm longer from pivot point to tip, same width.
