The reason these are fantastic because my trailer can be used for other reasons than just hauling my dirt bikes. These enable me to instantly remove my wheel chocks, so when I need to use my trailer to haul things, I do not need to unbolt my chocks to haul plywood or load my tractor. One of the best purchases I ever made.

Cons: 1) Might not work with all footpegs?I have Fastway pegs on my 2006 450X (mounted at their "low and back" position for longer legs/bigger feet), and admittedly one of the pegs is slightly bent, but the hitch hauler hold down brackets for the pegs does not want to line up well enough to give me a secure feeling about the mounting? 2) In order to get pegs to line up best with hold down brackets also requires my swingarm linkage to be slightly rubbing against the hitch hauler itself. Other bikes may have better results. Seems like design could have easily had a couple alternate holes/locations for the peg brackets from which I could choose best fit. 3) Lots of small parts involved/required to be installed and removed each time you load a bike (hold down brackets consist of I believe seven (7) separate parts; then two (2) large wingnuts and one large bolt utilized on the main body of the hauler. (The bolt I mention is actually used for the anti-wiggle receiver pin, so technically it shouldn't count as an extra piece or part). 4) a bit pricey (but of good quality) 5) heavy ( but good quality, and relatively small footprint) 6) takes way longer to mount a bike than I would like?. Pros: 1) good quality (but heavy) 2) relatively small footprint (but heavy) 3) lifts 285 pound bike with ease onto my f350 with 6" lift kit. 4) saving my back from solo-lifting heavy bike onto my other homemade hitch hauler ( which can have my bike securely loaded in 30 seconds)? if truck wasn't so tall or my back was stronger, or I was younger, or my bike was lighter, I'd still be solo-lifting onto my old hauler. Now I ask my kids for help lifting. Summary: I've only used the Switch Hauler on two riding trips since purchasing, due to the cons mentioned above. I'm sure others are pleased with it and its performance, but it just isn't my favorite as far as hitch haulers go.
