This has become my favorite oil to use in KTM 450s with a Rekluse. Compared to several other popular choices, this seemed to be the best in terms of shifting, clutch performance (without noise) while feeling like l had a quality oil for the engine itself.
this oil has never failed me " iv lost one clucth and had nomal top end wear with this oil " normal wear and tear is going to happen and i have put countless hours on worn out top end then put the worn out top end bike into the bike "until i had more money for the big bore kit" keep the bike going for onther 2 years on this oil ! no its time to overhaul. stick to the factory service intervals or comonsence and the engine will last.
I usually run the "green Motul" full synthetic. Switched to this "red Motul" because it was on sale. Bike wouldn't shift smoothly for the first 50 miles. Now it seems pretty happy with the oil. I ride in 100 degree conditions sometimes and it keeps my air cooled gsf1200 running cool.
