  Plastic holes don't line up

  Easy installation. Bolt holes for plastic on right side don't line up even after prescribed trimming. I was able to line up 2 of 3 so that will do.

  Almost Perfect

  First off, it looks way mo better than the stock tank. Especially the natural color. Second, there is plenty of room to get to the spark plug on a 2024 YZ125X and just enough room to reach the mixture adjuster on the SmartCarb I put on it. Those were my two biggest concerns, and they worked out fine. My biggest gripe is the plumbing. The dual petcocks was a good idea, just poorly executed. Both of them feed directly into the carb through a Y-connector, but the provided fuel line will not fit on my carb and is so tight on the petcock ;) that its impossible to disconnect them once they are connected while the tank is on the bike. And you cant get the tank off the bike until you disconnect the line from either the petcock or the Y-connector. A better design would be a single petcock on the left side with a second inlet to transfer fuel from the right side of the tank through a simple check valve. I ended up using a larger fuel line on the left side. I just hope they dont leak when I turn the fuel on. Right now Im letting it sit overnight with the petcocks off to make sure they dont leak. On that note, the O-rings that came with the petcocks are way too thin. I had to get an assorted set of O-rings from the hardware store and find the ones that worked. Fit is pretty good. The shrouds stick out a few mm more than they did. Doesnt affect function, but its a slight eyesore. The tank wobbled a bit at first, but i fixed that with some rubber shims from a old busted inner tube. Overall, I like it.
