  • Tusk Billet Aluminum Gas Cap, IMS Fuel Tanks

    Replace the vent hose....

Cap itself is good. Vent hose/cap on the other hand not so much. After the first ride apparently the little ball got stuck and wasn't allowing tank to vent. Noticed it right before a race and had to remove the vent hose in order for the bike to run for the race(didn't have another available). Free flowing hole in cap and no hose.... I enjoyed the misting of gas the entire race.......

  • Acerbis Fuel Tank

    Bradley in IL

    Almost 5 Stars. Some Issues

I went with 3 gal to keep the same lines of the bike. It’s lighter than stock because it’s a bit thinner material. This let’s you see fuel level easier. I considered black, but natural color keeps to dirt bike look. Instructions are useless. You have to delete the 90 degree fuel line fitting and go with an old school spigot type provided. You can cut your stock banjo bolt down about 1/4” to fit the Acerbis tank and reacquire the 90 degree fuel line position. This is not a super huge deal, but it does present the possibility of a snag on branches and whatnots. The evaporator/overflow tube doesn’t fit the gas cap nipple at all, so I use a rubber band around the tube and it seems to work so far. A Seat Concepts seat will need some dremel work on the tabs to fit this tank. 19’ KTM 500 EXC
