Polisport Halo Headlight

This went right on my yamaha and looks great.. I wouldn’t give it a perfect rating with the fact there are no connectors or anything included to at least save a trip to the hardware store. Water DOES leak into the headlight housing when I wash my bike but it doesn’t bother me that much. Worth the money but I’d pay a little more with some included basic connectors, wire

I got this for my 2011 Yamaha WR450F and the straps that are supposed to hold it to the forks were too small. They did, however, fit my 2015 KTM Freeride 250R.

Could use a brighter bulb for an extended beam out in front of you but it works for most of the riding I do when I'm trying to find my way home after dark.

I purchased this lights a while back and while it looks cool and operates well, the light bulb melted through the top and bottom housing! Big problem right? Well, the guys at Rocky Mountain ATV sent me a brand new one at no cost after reporting the issue. So, go with RMATV/MC and this is a great product but without them I'd be a little weary.

Used it on my 05 Yz450f and looks and works good. Not a ton of light produced out of the 35 watt it comes with, and doesn't come with a wire harness/socket for the head lamp, but you can easily buy an 'H4' headlamp socket at your local parts store for 10$ no biggie. Put an h4 led in it if you want some halfway decent light produced.

The polisport Halo headlight was a fantastic upgrade to my bike. It is well built and looks good on my 03 crf230f. The best part for me is no longer having to worry about getting back to Camp before dark.

Replace the bulb that came with the unit to a led bulb or hid bulb. I used a led bulb and it is much better

My kit was opened before receiving and the headlight pigtail was missing. I contacted customer service and they offered to sent out another unit overnight (AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE). It is not bright enough for me so I will upgrade to an LED H4 bulb. I was also disappointed that after washing I noticed there was water inside the light.

Received my Polisport headlight for my KTM EXC 530, the quality of the light and hardware greatly exceeded my expectations. Lens is very thick, thicker than my factory one to be completely honest. Color of the plastic is spot on. Very satisfied. Shipping was very prompt aswell. Had it within a couple days. Comes with directions which won't really be needed, as it's a pretty straight forward install. Just strap to the forks like stock and some basic wiring for me to convert to H4. Although I'm sure the Philips H4 in it now is more than sufficient, especially compared to my pathetic factory light, I won't be using it. I'll be coupling the light with a 35 watt H4 Morimoto HID kit for a little extra light output and that nice HID color. If you purchase this light and want to go with an HID kit aswell, there is plenty of room behind the top part of the light, the "shield" I guess you could call it, to mount a ballast with some good quality double sided molding tape. If you're interested in purchasing it or coupling one you already have with an HID kit.

There's simply no reason why the manufacturer shouldn't include the 3--prong plug, or whatever electrical hardware, is necessary to AT LEAST facilitate connection to your bike. JUST THE PLUG for the bulb (s) Polisport! Otherwise, this is a great product, strong quality with a decent brightness. INCLUDED Universal mounting kit is TOP NOTCH, has extensions for unit mounting.

This is a pretty solid light. Bought it to replace the butt ugly stock light on my WR250R that Yamaha had left over from the 80s and decided to slap on.

The light output is pretty good, combine it with one of the PIAA anti-vibe H4 bulbs found here, and you have a great package. Mounted up pretty easily and the two tone white/black looks good against my blue fender. I would have loved all white, but this isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe I'll try painting it. The light does expose the small holes where the stock light connected to the fender, but I cut the bottom of my stock headlight housing off and plugged them up, looks really good.

My only real gripe with this light is I wish the actual llense was more of a home plate shape instead of small rectangle, so it filled in the little gap on the bottom, which I think looks pretty bad.

Halo 2.0 with solid colors and a home plate style lense? I'd buy that from Polisport.

I got mine in Black it looks real nice on the bike. It had to be modified just like every other brand for the 06 YZ-450.

The CDI mounted behind the number plates leave no clearance for a headlight.

This headlight was the easiest to modify to fit. The light works well enough to find your way home, mine is powered by a 12 volt lithium rechargeable battery.

I got this for my 06 ktm 300 XC-W love how it looks. the high beam is bright but the low beam is pretty dim but all in all a great buy

This light is very bright with a wide pattern. Works well for woods and desert

First of all, if your bike can handle the extra watts, throw a standard 55w(at least) H4 bulb in if you plan on using it at night. I have to stick to the included 35w unless I get my stator rewound, but it's not too bad. The beam pattern is great and the 4w running light is great for when you want to stay legal(in Wa) or increase conspicuity on the trails a lil and not run your battery down. The housing itself is high quality, looks cool and mean. The front lens IS plastic, not glass, which I'm fine with.

Looks absolutely amazing. As you will read with other comments, you need a bulb adapter that you can get at any automotive store for less than $5. Mine didn't come with instructions for some reason, so I didn't know what wires did what, but after figuring it out, it works and looks great. I'd buy another for sure.

Perfect for wife's CRF 230F. However; you must purchase an H4 bulb socket which I found at an auto parts house, (2 in a pkg for 11 bucks). This light in combination with the Polisport LED tail light, Tusk light switch, universal mechanical brake light switch, Tusk mirror and universal horn made the bike street legal and looking sharp for about a hundred thirty bucks. Thanks for the great products, price, selection and great shipping at Rocky Mountain.

didnt come with wiring kit so i had to go buy a switch and i dont have a high or low beam option because of it

This light fits great on my CRF230F. Very bright for stated power consumption, and very easy to wire up. Fits Perfect and looks great.

Not a bad product for the money. understand you must purchase a switch and a bulb adapter for this! every parts store has them, very easy to find. easy to install.

Nice unit, quite bright, it's just too bad it doesn't have a glass lens.
