Highly recommend this, low power consumption and great lighting overall.
Highly recommend this head light simple to use comes with everything needed for install and wiring. Has upper 4 LED lights that act as day time run lights that shoot a pretty flat beam in front, low beam is perfect and brights will make dang sure you are seen on the road.

Excellent Lighting!
I had the shop (factory Powersports) install it with a tusk on/off switch. In my opinion it's a Better Light than the stock KTM on a 530XC-W. Couldn't be happier and it came in YZ Blue so it looks like it's from the factory. Great Headlight!

Decent
I purchased one of these elsewhere. It's a decent light with an ok beam pattern. The beam pattern is more horizontal than vertical, which means it doesn't provide much light in front of the bike and not too far away from the bike either, but provides good side view horizontally shaped in one particular spot, and although 508 lumens on low beam, it's still plenty bright and very white. 4 stars only because it's more of a horizontal beam leaving little to see directly in front of the bike.

Is it D.O.T. legal?
BILL S on Mar 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Polisport does not list this as DOT approved. To my knowledge, no aftermarket LED headlight is.
Do you need to float the ground or an after market stator to run this light. 07wr450?
Joshua R on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Because it is an LED you need DC voltage to the head light. Therefore, your bike needs to have a regulator/rectifier.
how many watts does this light require?
RICHARD B on Mar 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This light pulls 35 watts.
I have the tusk light kit already installed on my bike. I wanted to install a headlight but I’m reading online that I need to do a stator swap etc. Is there an easier way to install this light without doIng a stator swap or wiring this into my stock stator? Could I use an additional battery kind of like what comes with the tusk light kit or would I have to purchase something a little stronger. Also i couldn’t find a stator that would fit an 01yz250f. Any help is greatly appreciated
Steven H on May 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately the Tusk enduro lighting kit is not set up to run a head light. Stator swap would be the best most reliable power source.
does it have a high beam function?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does.
What kind of connection is there on the back of the light?
anthony c on Feb 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's a standard 4 position plug. The wires can be removed if you need to do some custom wiring though.
What bulb type does this take? ... And is there one included ?
Jayson S on Feb 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It takes an LED bulb, Polisport #8678100019. There is a bulb included.
Does this come with an on/off switch and how does it mount?
A shopper on Sep 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, does not come with on/off switch. Comes with mating connector and contacts only, which are of good quality. It mounts using the stock rubber mounts. Comes with two different length brackets, roughly stock length and a longer one to allow for more or less wire bundle behind it. I needed the longer one so that was nice. Kind of difficult to get the rubber mounts off the stock brackets and then installed on the Polisport brackets, but doable with patience and thought. Very nice light and excellent quality. Took some googling to translate the Euro nomenclature for high and low beam.
Will the 3 wires coming from the tusk wire harness connect to this headlight?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I put this head light on my KTM 450 a couple months ago and like it. Don't know about the tusk wire harness, but this light came with a mating connector and the contacts for it. So what ever you are hooking up to it can be made to work by just figuring out which wire from the harness goes to which pin, then installing the contacts on the appropriate wire, installing the contacts into the connector housing and plugging that into the head light. I didn't know it was coming with that and was wondering how I was going to hook it up, but it was easy with the supplied parts and nice touch by Polisport. The only part that was a little confusing is the connector positions are in "euro speak" and they have different terms than the simple high, low, parking in US. Can't remember what they were, but a google search gave me the translation.
Can this light be powered by the lithium ion rechargeable battery RMATVMC sells?
Daryl F on Oct 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: 12v DC is 12v DC, whether it comes from a battery or a stator. So, yes you can run this light from a 12v battery. How long it will run on that battery is another question.
I have stock TTR230 2017 with electric start. Do I need to do any modifications to the bike prior to the headlight installation?
Slawomir N on Jun 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Since the TTR does not come stock with lights its stator is not super strong. I'm not sure that the stator will keep charing the battery if you are running the high beam. You can rig up an ammeter and check or just make sure your good at bump starts, since the TTR-230 has no kick starter.

Other than that, just wire the light to your battery with a switch to select Hi/Lo/Off. I'm betting the stator will barely keep up with the light on Lo.
i currently have a polisport mmx light on my bike, will this polisport halo led match up to the mmx wire terminals?
Timothy T on Dec 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I would think so, this light (going from memory) has 4 leads, ground, main power, low beam, high beam. It was obviously designed for on road use and wired to a switch. I wired mine directly to the battery through a switch with hi/low beam options. This meant that I could turn the light on without the bike running, but that was a bike issue as it had no keyed ignition so I thought it was irrelevant to tie into factory wiring to connect to switched power as the ignition was a push button. Light was awesome though, very easy install and wiring.
Can this be wired to have ONLY low beam?
Justin P on Sep 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It cannot.
I have a 2017 Honda CRF450RX will my stator be ok to run this light and do you sell a wiring kit for it?
