PW80 - Requires Modifications To Work
You will need to transfer parts from an OEM PW80 Carb to make this work.

1. The metal tube that the choke cable goes into on the carb does not work a PW80. You will need to buy it or have one to transfer.

2. There is a white plastic spacer that sits inside on the intake side of the carb and it is to thick and will not fit the pw80. You will have to reuse the oem or modify it.

Also, the idle adjustment screw must be wrapped in Teflon to keep the screw from backing out under vibration when the bike is running.

I will say it does work once you make these modifications and it is jetted properly for my pw80 but for an extra $60 I would have just bought the OEM Carb.

Remember, there is a reason why it cost less than a quart of 2T Oil

A quick and efficient replacement
Great carb for the money it beats the amazon carbs hands down. I put the carb on and the bike fired right up, it needed a little air fuel ratio adjustment and idle adjustment to get the bike to idle and run just right though

Worth taking a chance but mine didn't run right
My factory carb was leaking so instead of buying a $35 rebuild kit I thought I would try this $20 aftermarket and swap it out, well it would idle and run good at low rpm but it would only spit and sputter when you held it wide open, long story short, I bought a rebuild kit for the stock carb and put it back an and she runs perfectly, and guess what, no returns since it had gas through the carb, go figure

Not even worth the ~$17
Carburetor arrived and looks to be used. The piece that the choke cable is attached to and drops in the carb is slightly oversized and will not move. Float bowl does not attach to needle, possibly broken? Idle adjustment made no difference, even when fully removing and/or opening. Had to remove and put stock back in.

JUNK
Aluminum shavings in the bowl, float was not set right, bore of carburetor/Slide would stick randomly causing a wide open throttle scenario. RMATV would not refund purchase or give credit towards OEM Carb. Last product I buy from RMATV

I’m very impressed with the craftsmanship of this carburetor. In my opinion it actually better than the factory carburetor .
I have a 2011 Honda 500 Foreman I was having carburetors problems and decided to replace it. This was a exact fit with no problems with it. I’ve been using it for two weeks now.

Carb didnt work properly
I could not get the idle adjustment screw to work properly. It would not move the slide up and down. I ordered another one and am going to use this one as a back up for a rebuild later. I just put the old carb back on. I tried to pull jets so that I could blow them out prior to installation, the Pilot jet would not come out at all. So I just blew are into it. But the main problem was the slide. These are so cheap I am not messing with sending it back. Just ordered another one as I know these Chinese carbs are hit and miss.

Does this come with the necessary gaskets?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The carburetor is complete and ready to install. However the stock throttle cable may not be compatible so order the carburetor with the throttle cable. It is not nearly as quality as the stock throttle cable but it works. Also you may find there is a lot of play in the cable. I used a cable tension adjuster out of a clutch perch and tapped threads into the top of the carb to take up the free play. My application was for a 2003 XR100. The carburetor worked perfect and I did not even have to play with jetting. Great carburetor for the money. So I hoped I answered your question. Complete unit so all gaskets/o-rings are included. Should be a plug and play unit. Good luck. Keep your feet up!
Does the carb come pre adjusted?
A shopper on Mar 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is pre adjusted you only need to set your idle with the thumb screw.
Does this come with the needle?

Do jets from an oem pw50 carb fit in this?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes they do... but turned out I didn't need to rejet my kids pw50 after installing it. I did check them to see what size was in it for reference. It fit up better than expected and ran great out of the box. a couple turns of the idle screw is about all it needed. The carb discharge flange ( engine side) was a little tight fit but it went on. The screws seem cheap so be careful with them. The screw on the clamp actually stripped out when I went to tighten it, Nut was fine but it was a fun thread pitch that I had a hard time finding in the garage and even at the hardware store, ended up changing them both.
I've got a 1980 lc50g champ with vacuum choke. Is the second cable for a manual choke on this carburetor? My 38 year old carburetor works fine, but wanna upgrade. Also what type of Jetts does it take, keihin or mikuni?
roy s on May 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes the second cable is for a manual choke, not sure about the jets sorry.
