Great so far!
Just put these on last week. I have only got out once to use them so far. They area easy to install and work great with the throttle thumb warmer. They heated up quickly and got warmer than I had anticipated. We were in temps as low as the mid 20's and my hands were plenty warm... so much so that I had to turn these to the lower settings.

I plow snow with my Quad and am looking forward to using them when the temps are down and the snow is flying.

Great heated grips.
These grips were easy to install and had them on in 40 minutes. They fit very tightly, probably didnt even need to lock them on, but I did. When I had them on they got so hot on the 5 setting I had to turn them down to a 3 with light gloves on. They were worth the price, time will tell for longevity.

Hand warmers
The product arrived quickly, Installation was fairly simple and they look fantastic. The warmers heat up quickly, love the 5 temperature settings. Makes plowing snow with my atv more enjoyable. Will highly recommend this product.

Works great, simple install
I followed the video instructions on RM and it came out perfect. Very happy, high quality and easy install. The grips feel good with no heat for summer time use. I used the handle bar mount for the heat selector and its solid in place. Very good instructions as well as watching the video. Maybe the trickiest part was finding key on power. Get it and the thumb warmer to keep your hands warm in wintertime!

What is the wattage requirement of the grips with thumb heater? Thanks.
Lance N on Nov 17, 2019
Tusk ATV Lock-On Heated Grips. How much power are they use, how many watts are there on these item?
Thomas T on Nov 8, 2019
Can the ends of these grips be cut to allow for wrap around hand guards to be installed?
AJ S on Mar 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The ends are open so I don't think you'd have a problem there but would you have enough room cause the grips are slightly larger ?
I just installed my heated grips and heated thumb throttle last night. The 5 setting switch was working fine. Now I just get 4 and 5 then off. I’m going to check my connections again, not sure if it matters if the thumb throttle is plugged into left or right grip..
anyone else experience this?
Josh L on Nov 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Regarding Tusk heated hand grips. I do not have the thumb throttle heater but wouldn’t think it would have any effect on the controller. Saying that, the controller would seem to be the issue. It’s a simple electric circuit. Heating elements are a fixed load and if you want to control the heat output you need a switch. The switch with some electronics can control the heat output. If your heating elements are working at all, you know everything is good except the device controlling it. Get a new switch and it should be fine.
are these grips a hard plastic or a soft rubber like normal grips?
Nathan S on Oct 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These grips are made out of a "firm" rubber due to the molded in heating element. They are as comfortable to grip as the OEM grips that they replaced, have no issues with hands slipping around on rough terrain.
My grips work if I hook them up to my jump starter but don't work when they are hooked up to my snomobile. There is no battery on the snowmobile, just a regulator/rectifier. There is about 12 volts coming through the line and the headlight works. does that mean my regulator/rectifier is bad? Or does this need a battery connection for smoother volatge?
Eric H on Oct 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I did not have such a problem but I would assume it is not a Voltage problem as much as an Amperage problem. I am guessing that the Amperage put out by your jump starter (or a 12 V battery) is higher than that given out by the regulator/rectifier. You may need to run a 12 V Battery on your snowmobile that will need to be recharged after each use on a bench since the snowmobile does not have an alternator for charging.
Can you replace the grips when they wear out?
Jens A P on Oct 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, they are one piece. They are made of hard rubber so they should wear a long time.
Can someone measure and post the diameter of the grip? Thanks
Edward B on Dec 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These are a standard 7/8" grip. They are made to fit on the bars of any ATV.
What kind of Warranty do these have ?
Robert W on Feb 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: These have a standard 6 month warranty. However, if anything happens outside of the 6 months still contact us and we can see what we can do since this is our product.
Will it fit for a 2005 Yamaha raptor 350?
A shopper on Jan 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: These are universal grips. They are designed to fit ATV's with only a thumb throttle, they will not work with twist throttles. The inner diameter is 7/8", which fits on bars of any ATV's.
