I put this on my 2001 XR650R and it works awesome! I did end up purchasing a front brake switch so the brake lights work with front an rear use. I used a hi/low led headlight and run it off the stator and it works really well too!
I highly recommend this street legal kit, especially if you have an older Honda that the lights are ran off the stock stator.

I recently installed the Tusk Motorcycle Enduro Lighting Kit on my 2004 Honda CRF250x, and Im really impressed with the upgrade! The kit was easy to install and work flawlessly. The quality is top-notch, and it makes my bike street-legal while improving overall visibility and safety. If you're looking to add the essentials for road riding, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. Would not purchase again.
Very disappointed. Few uses on easy dirt trails. No jumping or technical rides. I'm 65 and ride conservatively. Would look for a better quality kit.
1.First Tail Light Lens fell off. Rocky Mountain promptly replaced the entire fender as lens only was not an option. Customer service outstanding.
2. Both front blinkers, rubber mounts broken. No hits on bushes, no falls, few rides, appear the cheap rubber mount just tore from vibration. Left side is taped, right side is done. Replacing and will tape the new ones over the cheap rubber. The stalks need to be metal, longer ribbed, or better quality rubber. My old DRZ blinkers have seen hell and are still entact as a comparison.
3) Some of the connectors are not crimped and very delicate. Have replaced several with a better quality crimp type. Use caution when inserting/withdrawing from plugs.
Otherwise nice kit, just poor quality.

This kit hits the spot. Solid wiring, solid switches and lights, and mostly excellent connectors/pig-tails. Perfect for my XR400. Battery pack is minimal and Battery connectors are a little weak as I already had to replace w bullet connectors. Also, would have been extremely helpful for a CLEARER explanation of using existing power circuit to power headlight via this tusk control switch I recommend this kit.

Nice wiring diagrams included make installation easier. Lights are bright and look good. My only complaint is that the included flush mount rear turn signals do not have male connectors installed and are bare wires, so you either have to cut the female connectors off of the wiring harness and splice the wires together, or get your own appropriately sized male connectors and attach them to the turn signal leads, which was somewhat tedious. Other than that, just about everything is plug and play and quite easy to install.

Kit seems decent but I’m very annoyed it only had one brake switch thread pitch option. Didn’t work with my bike and had to order a separate switch.. bummer dude!

Great Kit, Solid quality. Controllers could be nicer.
It works well; it's pretty simple wiring coming from someone who has not done any bike wiring but had mild experience. I recommend routing on/off to the headlight and pulling headlight power from blinkers; there are a few videos on it. Adventure Daily briefly mentions how to do this, but I need more help from other videos after.
I really wish they sold an upgrade for the control switch. its been fine even after getting rain on it but it could be much better.

Simple, effective kit for creating a Dual Sport ride.
This kit was perfect for making my 2005 KTM 450 EXC street legal. The EXC models come with a headlight, tail light, and battery so my install was likely easier than most. But the bike was missing the tail light and sub fender when I bought it so this kit came in even more handy. The wiring diagram is labeled well and extremely easy to follow, especially paired with RMATVs YouTube install video. The turn signals and tail/brake light are brighter than expected, which is a huge plus for safety. I chose not to wire my stock headlight to the Tusk provided control switch, as I only use my headlight for safety while riding anyway - especially on the road. Plus, it's simply not that much effort to use the factory pull switch for my headlight. If I start riding after dark I'II obviously upgrade the entire headlight assembly, and consider using the control switch. But I know a lot of guys who prefer to keep their stock 35W halogen running off the stator as opposed to directly from the battery.
