Good boot
Solid value, good grip on the pegs, flexible but still give good support. Not a lot of grip in rough terrain or mud, but overall more than adequate for all but the most severe duty

Good boots for the money
These seem like pretty decent boots for the money. I have a two hour ride on them so far and they are comfortable. I am concerned about how long they will last though as there is a lot of glued parts on this boot. The main important parts are stitched so we will see. I feel these boots are a good sturdy alternative to the more expensive enduro boots out there. I wear a size 13 and these are spot on. A little snug until you get the straps adjusted and wear them around.

Solid boot. If you are looking for a boot made for trails that has a grippy tread pattern, this is it. For the price, you can't beat it. Super comfortable, the buckles feel solid. I pulled them out of the box and hopped on the bike. No hot spots or blisters, no break in time before. Runs true to size. Whatever size boot you normally wear, order it for this.

Best boots ever for the money
My son rides off-road and needed new boots. He tried these and loved them. No breaking time and light. They seem to be two pounds lighter. Plenty of protection for woods riding. The sole grips the ground great also.

Not my favorite
They just don't fit anything like the older generation of boots. Too clunky, narrow foot bed, can't tighten the ankle buckle enough. I've always been an Alpinestar guy, but after disappointing experiences with some tech 5's and now these tech 3's I think it's time to switch brands.

Can't go wrong with Alpinestars boots.
Alpinestars make great boots. I like the low profile toe area they may not look as good as the bulkier boots but you can shift better with them. They are comfortable and sturdy, good sole with a little tread compared to the mx boot. I would recommend these especially if you can find a deal on them. I would say they run true to size, i wear a 8.5 to 9 in work boots and the 9 is just a little loose but not bad. Wish company's would make half sizes in dirt bike boots especially for how much you invest in them. Oh yeah there pretty hot to ride in but most mx boots are.

So far so good
Just got these and haven't been able to ride yet. First impressions are really good. I'm normally a size 10 in riding boots but I tried the size 9 and it fit fantastic. Probably the most comfortable riding boot new that I've owned.

I bought these for trail and technical riding. I've got a pair of SG12s and while they are excellent boots, they are tanks. I wouldn't wear anything else on the track or off road racing but for practicing my Graham Jarvis impersonation, they are too heavy and clumsy. Plus I wanted something with more traction when I get stuck in steep terrain.

Never thought I'd be riding in $200 boots again, I can afford whatever I want, but these really feel good and seem to have sufficient protection for low speed technical and trail riding.

I'll post an update after I get some rides in.

Tech3 Enduro
Picked these up due to the grippier sole. Not exactly a workboot, but it does give great traction in dirt and on the pegs. Boots were super comfortable out of the box, I only put about 30 minutes on them prior to hitting the trail. Toes seem a little thicker than I'm used to, and I'll be moving my shifter up a notch to handle that.

My normal shoe size is between a 10.5/11 depending on brand, and my feet are on the wide side. Size 11 fits great.

Is there any leather in the boot?
Patrick K on Jan 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I believe there is in some places.
I am in-between size 12 and 13. Do these boots run big or small?
Michael P on Jun 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Mike, I am an 8 1/2 in boots and I took a size 9. The 9 fits perfect. I would go with the 1/2 six bigger.
I ride a 2002 YZ250 on trails. Bought these and am continuously activating my rear brake accidentally, despite trying the full range of pedal adjustments. Does not happen with my other boots. Boot does appear a tad( small t) wider on the inside edge. Anyone else experiencing this? Next step is either bending the pedal, or not using these boots anymore.
Thanks
Mike B on Aug 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have found the opposite to be true, I am constantly looking for my brake while standing, sitting I have had no problem after breaking them in. I ride a Honda Africa twin, not sure if that helps but that is my experience with these boots
Are they waterproof?
Mike s on Jul 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, and comfortable...im a 9.5 i bought 10 and they fit great
What is the difference in the tech 3 enduro boot and the regular tech 3 boot?
Mark R on Dec 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: as far as i know the major difference is the sole of the boot. the enduro sole is really
good in gripping on inclines where the regular tech3 would let you slide
