I bought these boots to use for my more technical rides after breaking an ankle in a more adventure type boot. They are very comfortable and now use them in almost all cases like day rides, week-long BDR, etc. I have had a couple of instances of getting the boot stuck under the motorcycle and one of hitting my toe on a large rock that would have been injuries in other boots, but were no issue at all in these.

I own a FJR1300 and a KLR650 and I was looking at a boot that could be good on both bikes. I watched youtuber Moto Giant videos on how he lost a foot and ankle in an interstate crash, and I was wanting to upgrade my street riding gear. I wear Tech 7 in my offroad riding and racing but on the street I wore a Seduci street boot. All my Alpinestars boots I have ever owned have been 11 and I wear a 10 1/2 in casual shoes. I am happy to say they work great on both bikes and is comfortable to walk in. My only complaint is in August in Georgia they are warm but so is everything.

I heard good things about these boots from friends so decided to get a pair. They are great. They are comfortable but still provide the necessary protection and support needed.

First time wearing these boots was on a 1000 mile ride and they were comfortable from the start, no break in needed. Fit was perfect, shifting and braking was no problem. Wish I would have found these earlier. Great boot, I highly recommend.

Only 1000mi so far but had full days of flooded trails with completely dry feet. Walking, standing on pegs and seated 250mi stints of slab all comfortable. Sizing is a little funky for 46-47 vs 11-12. Im typically a 12 shoe, 11 in American boots and a 46 on brannock. Bought size 12 thinking they run small.. feels big and loose with thin socks. But kept them thinking the jump down to 11 would be too much. With "boot" socks they feel better and didn't have any hot spots or break in issues. Definitely the one piece of equipment I forget is even there until fording water over the wheels "oh.. my feet are still dry.. nice!" Mud/dirt riding does have them squeaking while walking. Still an expensive boot but worth it on the value scale.
