Details

Legendary for their design and renowned for their durability, the Crossfire boots from Sidi are the gold standard for off-road riding – and how could they be anything else? Handcrafted Italian quality with the style to match, the Sidi Crossfire boots have a tried-and-true reputation. The Sidi Crossfire 3 SRS boots serve that reputation well. Completely redesigned from head to toe, the boots highlight Sidi’s unique ability to pair innovation with tradition. Many of the features that made the Crossfire 2 SRS boots so popular can be found in the 3s, just carefully refined with an emphasis on protection, fitment, comfort, and convenience for the everyday rider, weekend warrior, and everyone else in between.

    Protection
  • Ankle pivot system
  • Rigid, shock resistant heel
  • Hard TPU and protective plastic

A major protective component of the Crossfire 3 SRS boots is their all-new ankle pivot system. Featuring a "hyperextension block," the technology prevents hyperextension of the foot and ankle, limiting rider’s risk of injury and instilling a sense of safety. The reformed heel is noteworthy as well, boasting a design that keeps the foot planted in the boot and resistant to twisting. These notable features, along with the other protective systems in the boot, are all shrouded in hard TPU and protective plastic for an extra layer of insurance.

    Fitment
  • Non-bootie design
  • Technomicro material
  • Independent buckling
  • Dual Flex System

One feature that continues to distinguish Sidi Crossfire boots from their competitors is their non-bootie design. Where other premium boots choose to insert a bootie, Sidi opts out, giving their boots a slimmer, more responsive fit and feel. Rather than have a bootie that could inhibit shifting and build up heat in the boot, Sidi trusts their Technomicro material on the interior to handle things on its own. The composite microfiber material is made from strands finer than silk, yet is as tough as natural leather. This makes the interior water resistant, abrasion resistant, and incredibly lightweight and flexible for optimal fit.

With even more focus on flexibility, the Crossfire 3 SRS boots also have an independent buckling system. Each buckle has one fixed point (by a screw) that allows for easy closure and adaptability to varying positions on the bike. The Dual Flex System works with four of these straps to ensure the most personal fit, regardless of rider size or gear. And, although these systems offer flexibility, they all contain hard stops to limit any hyperflexion and hyperextension.

    Convenience
  • Dovetail SRS
  • Bolt-on parts
  • Removable and replaceable buckles, straps, plates, and more

The hallmark of the Sidi Crossfire 3 SRS boots is, of course, the SRS – sole replacement system. With their new Dovetail anti-skid rubber sole, the reinforced arch is anchored by four bolts, secure and completely replaceable. Because the arch area wears much more often and quicker than the toe and heel areas, the latter two are fixed in the boot. Though they cannot be removed, the heel and toe were both constructed for endurance and durability, so replacement would be unlikely.

The sole isn’t the only thing that can be replaced, however. Almost the entire boot is made to be removable. Where components could’ve been stitched, Sidi decided to bolt, creating the ultimate bolt-on boot. Every cam-lock buckle can be replaced, along with the central strap system, shin plate, and boot leg. Everything that was bolted on can be screwed off, a convenience that adds years to the reliable Sidi chassis.

    Comfort
  • Cambrelle® lining in the foot area, Teflon mesh throughout

Perhaps the best thing about these boots is that none of the safety features, fitment systems, or replaceable components come at the cost of comfort. Along with the moisture resistant Technomicro material, Sidi has also incorporated Cambrelle® and Teflon throughout the interior of the boot. The Cambrelle® and Teflon work to prevent moisture buildup and the onset of mold by being moisture-wicking and quick-drying.

    Complete Features:
    Protection
  • All new ankle pivot system is designed to have a "hard" limit of foot/ankle hyperextension.
  • Calf plate system features an inner double adjustment that expands to fit even the largest calf or knee brace system!
  • Inner heat shield made of high grip material.
  • Toe area covered in protective plastic.
  • An all new rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel hold the riders foot firm and thus resists twisting while offering added protection.
  • Innovative Dual Flex System upper offers the industry’s best fit, especially with knee braces!
  • Replaceable inner kick starter/foot peg nylon guard on the inside area of both boots.
  • Lower buckle guards help protect against opening due to an impact.
  • Sidi patented replaceable shin plate.
  • Malleolus external plastic guard with ergonomic closed cell foam padding internally to enhance protection of those tender small foot bones.

    Materials/Construction
  • A laminated Technomicro is used as the base material in all areas.
  • Slim, cool non-bootie design.
  • Nylon insole no dangerous steel shank!
  • Removable arch support.
  • New inner boot gaiter has a larger circumference than the Crossfire 2 making for a tight seal around the rider’s lower leg no matter which knee brace system may be used. Upper inside of the gaiter features an anti-heat suede protection-grip panel.
  • Replaceable, sleek, micro adjustable cam lock buckle system with memory retention nylon straps.
  • All buckles move independently of each other and have just one fixed point (by a screw). This allows an easy closure and the buckles can adapt to the rider’s position as they pivot on the mounting screw as the rider changes position on the bike.
  • The complete central strap system can be easily replaced.
  • Lined with anti-abrasion Cambrelle® in the foot area for comfort, the upper is lined with Teflon mesh which prevents complete absorption of water and sweat. These materials will not retain water or sweat on the inside of the boot. The boot will dry quickly and the treatment also prevents the onset of mold.
  • All bolt-on parts are replaceable.
  • The boot leg is fully assembled with screws, is stitch-free and entirely replaceable.

    SRS Sole
  • Sidi has upgraded the entire SRS sole system on the Crossfire 3 SRS boot. New sole "boat" features a more cupped and thicker design so the rider’s foot rests deeper into the sole system. This change gives more engagement between the boots upper and sole in manufacturing which will extend the boots lifespan. This change also creates a firmer sole than any other Crossfire boot.
  • Replaceable by hand tools, the new Dovetail SRS anti-skid rubber sole covers the arch area of the sole.
  • Toe and heel areas on the new Dovetail SRS sole are now a permanent part of the Crossfire 3 SRS.

Expensive but worth it
My son is particularly hard on riding gear, other brand boots only last us one season. The original Crossfire 2 SRS attracted me to SIDI for the ability to replace the soles with just a screwdriver. We used the SRS 2's for two seasons and his friend is still wearing them. The SRS 3's are holding up just as well or better.

Sidi for life
Hands down the most comfortable highest quality boot I have ever worn. Even better than sg12. I was an sg12 fan for a long time and just finished Vegas to reno in my new crossfire 3s and I am a sidi guy for life now. They breathe well and fit amazing when paired up with sidis socks. Recommend x2!

Solid Boots
I bought these a size large, based on many of the reviews here and other places. I received them and the fit was quite good.

They seem very solidly constructed and look to provide a great deal of protection, hopefully I will never need their protection.

Sole feel is better than some other reviews state and they appear to require some break in, which is expected.

I really like the wrap around liner that appears to be water tight. The buckle adjustments are a bit fiddly at first, but once you are used to their operation it is pretty easy to adjust.

They have enormous space around the calf but can be adjusted for a perfect fit, regardless of calf size.

I like the availability of replacement parts.

Overall I am very happy with this boot.

Nice boots but run WAY small
Just got my new SIDI SRS Crossfire 3s. They run small. I wear a size a 10 1/2 wide tennis shoe and had to go up to 12 1/2 SIDI to fit. I previously had a SIDI SRS size 11 that I wore for years but wow, they were super tight. I was told “they will fit looser after they break in” but no way. After many hours maybe a little bit but then I could wear only with the thinnest socks possible. With my old SIDIs and the new ones, the tightness is in the toe box. Toe box is way too low for me but moving up to a 12 1/2 fixed it.

In regard to everything else, I love SIDI for protection, durability and quality. I can’t count the number of crashes I’ve had and things I’ve hit that no doubt would have torn up cheaper boots....and more importantly, protected me!

I also like being able to replace parts. I recommend buying extra straps because I break quite a few. One other thing, you can extend your sole life by putting “Shoe Goo” in the holes over the screwheads on the sole. Those gaps are caught with the foot peg and torn but with “Shoe Goo”, it keeps the screw holes from being caught so easily.

This is my third pair of SIDI SRS boots.

Awesome boot. On my 3rd set.
Tried Tech 10's and came back to the Sidi. Sidi has a narrower fit than the Tech 10's.

Awesome
I have worn out several pairs of boots including three pairs of Tech 8's. They always cracked open on the top and the inserts shrunk until they looked like elf booties. I only have 37 hours on these but I am confident that they will continue to protect me. The totally awesome thing about these boots is that sometimes I just like to leave my knee braces behind. A quick adjustment and I am on my way.
Thank you very much SIDI.

Awesome boots a little expensive but probably worth the money very protective. Some of the best looking boots out there in my opinion. My last pair lasted so long that I couldn't see not spending the extra money on these new pair of Sidis. I still have my old boots of the same brand and will probably continue to use them although the sole on the one is wore out. These new pair of boots contain a replaceable sole my last crossfire boots did not.

Do you feel that the Hyperextension block on the Crossfire 3 does what it is supposed to and works well? I see quite a few reviews including from verified buyers on your site that don't feel it does. I know there is a bit of flex in the shell around the ankle in the 2. I'm assuming you see some of that same flex? I'm guessing I probably shouldn't expect the boot to suddenly stop moving with all of my weight on it but is the stop noticeable? Thanks!
Brian S on Nov 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Brian,

That is a good question. When it comes to the different ankle pivot/hinge systems between the Crossfire 2 and 3 boots the range of motion is very similar and most people that wear Sidi's don't notice a change in the pivots feel or limits. The hyperextension block is basically an upgraded pivot from the Crossfire 2, where the Crossfire 2 pivot had what we call a "soft stop", the Crossfire 3's new pivot offers a more rigid stop in the event of a hyperextension problem. This would offer greater protection against those types of impacts.
So to answer your question, no the range of motion is not less or more, and yes it is designed to offer more protection. I can not speak for other riders I do not know but from my experiences it is a functional addition to the boot.
Is the foo red more of an orange?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes the Red Flo/Ash is bright orange. It looks good with KTM orange though!
Can you order the boots with the enduro sole installed?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we are unable to change the soles on these.
I have a pare of fox instinct boots and have wider feet the fox boot is a bit snug on my foot would these be better or would the garnne sg12 offer a better fit?
Tyce P on Nov 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Sidis are tight! I usually use 9.5 - 10 the most with my regular shoes and need 11 with Sidi and those feel snug. Besides those are mostly molded plastic/rubber in the front and wont adjust/wear-in much with your foot. Don't get me wrong, if you can make a Sidi fit you will love 'em. My buddy has a wide foot and is very happy with his Gaerne as I hear from everyone the Gaerne run allot wider.
Are these boots waterproof?
Sam A on Jan 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: As waterproof as any MX boot. I would say "water resistant" because you have to ride in some pretty deep water to get water in the boot. Example: If you have to walk your bike out of a "boot high" stream you will get wet feet. In general with mud and such on a regular MX track you feet stay dry and comfortable. Sidi are known for their comfort. I call Sidi's the "house slipper" of MX boots.
Sizing: I ware a size 9 in all boots. What size do you recommend ?
Dan B on Mar 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would go up one size. These boots run small. If you have wider feet these boots will be tight.
are the crossfire 3 srs a bit narrower in the upper ankle area than the crossfire 2 srs ??
Diego G on Jul 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I still have my old set of crossfire 2’s and I tried them on compared to the 3’s and I can’t tell any difference between the two pair of boots fit wise in regards to the upper ankle area. They are both well broke in and the fit is very similar. The major difference between the two pair of boots is the sole. The 3’s sole is much thicker which required me to adjust my brake and shift pedals. The 3’s are built well, comfortable and holding up well after a season and a half of riding.
Where are these boots made? I know its an Italian company but cant find any info on the manufacturing of the sidi crossfire 3. Thanks
A shopper on Nov 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello,

Sidi boots are manufactured and shipped from Maser Italy.
How bright is the flo yellow? It looks to be more of a standard yellow than other brands flo yellow. Is this correct?
Thomas M on Jul 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The florescent colors don't photograph particularly well under many conditions, but in person they are particularly bright.
I've seen picture of the new Sidi Crossfire 3 in blue. Will that boot be available soon and will Sidi offer other colorways like the Crossfire 2?
Josh B on Jan 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not have plans for receiving the blue colorway yet. Sidi offers quite a few color ways in the Crossfire 3 like they did in the Crossfire 2.
