Great Dual sport tire for the dirt
I put 700 miles on them using my Husky FE450, mostly rocky dual sport trails, with some sand and dirt. They are holding up really well and they handle my fairly fast pace pretty well too.

On my 300 I can only get 700-1000 miles on a high performance front tire. This looks like it will last twice as long, I just ordered a rear to match.

Great dirtbike DOT Tire
This is a straight up Dirtbike Tire with a DOT stamp on it. I was waiting for other reviews to see how they are before I bought them. The price is great for this tire. But installing them was a pain. These are very stiff. My Stock Conti TKC 80's were more flexible then these. For being a mid hard tire, I thought these would be a little softer rubber wise since hard terrain tires use a softer compound, there is some flex but overall this would be a good all around tire.

Not for me
120/100 x18 was super stiff in the sidewall, didn't even really need air in it. The rubber compound is really hard which makes it wear great, but it rides really slick in mixed soils in the woods, especially on rocks and wood when wet (obviously). Great tire if you don't ride those conditions and want something stiff as heck.

KTM 690 Approved
650 miles of mixed dual sport rocky terrain on a set of these. Zero chunking. Best tire I've had on the 690 Enduro. At least for off-road. On road don't expect anything great, especially braking. It's done so well I'm almost afraid to try another tire, because others barely last more than one ride.

MC 360 rear tire
I ride a KTM 300 in a variety of terrain in west Texas (rocks, sand, hard pack, loss dirt, mud). This tire is the closest thing I found to the discontinued Bridgestone 404 (Battlecross do not last where I ride) in wear and traction. Highly recommend this tire.

Best tire for sandy desert on a dual sport
This is essentially a longer lasting, DOT version of the Maxxis Desert IT. It wont last on sharp rocky terrain but it has great traction in socal deserts. I doubt it will last as long as the Motoz but I'm willing to sacrifice some lifespan for better traction in the sandy covered hard pack.

Street Legal Dirt Tire
Finally feels like I have knobbies on my WR250R. Only one ride, so tread life is unknown. Stock trailwings were terrible off road, Dunlop D606s were not much better, these Metzeler MC 360 Mid-Hard hook up like proper dirt tires should. Little loud on the street, as they should be. No mud yet, but sandy river bar and hard pack gravel they worked great. Quick street ride and they felt fine on dry pavement.

Best in Test
I have used this in (2) 300 and 450 mile desert races, and I have done as many testing rides and pre-run in Baja. I have tried to ruin this tire to see where its breaking point is and I can't break it even twisting the throttle constantly through sharp rocks of Big Bear and Rowher Flat. I put 530 miles on one rear and it never chunked before it was finally down to low hook up. I did a head to head with the Bridgestone ED77/78 which are now gone and it was bette in every way, also the D606 which is awful performance, and the Pirelli MT18/21 Both were like rocks compared to the grip and compliance of this MC360 Hard, the longevity was even better which is always the problem. Its not one of those hybrid gummies level of grip but its for sure better than every other choice for do it all off-road rubber. I run a mousse inside the Mid Hard or Soft front, Hard better for West, and I run an Ultra Duty Bridge in the rear. Good for 550 race miles and events.

How do you guys like these tires? Thinking about buying them for riding trails in the desert but can still hit the track as well?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The traction on the tire was pretty good and tread wear was great. I only had one bad thing. I use the tubliss system and like to run 8-10 psi in the rear and it only took about 8 hours of riding for the sidewall to start coming apart. It had major sidewall cracking and when I took the tire off the whole inside of the sidewall wash shredded. I'm surprised it even held air. Despite my experience I'm sure it would be a great tire for those that run at least 15 psi.
Can these be used with the Tubliss system? Mine don't seem to be holding pressure for very long.
Patrick D on Jun 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I have used these with tubliss. If you are having a pressure issue, get a spray bottle with soapy water inflate your tubliss and tire to find the leak. If the tire was not new it may not seat properly. Also check both stems. You may need to re-evaluate your tire mounting steps. After tubliss is mounted and the your tire, be sure to bounce it around for at least two rotations to make sure the system and bead are In the correct position prior to inflation. FYI, Tubliss is not approved for highway use. It’s a great system, I’ll never go back to tubes. The traction is just amazing.
Does this come with the rim??
William J on Dec 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, the rim is not included.
