      SAFETY

Inspect and check tire pressure often. This is the most important tire-maintenance function you can perform. Refer to your machine's documentation for proper maintenance. Always give tires a gentle "run-in" period of 100 miles to get the feel of new tires--this means they should not be subjected to maximum power, abrupt lean-over, hard cornering, etc. Always match the front and rear tires for optimal handling, safety and performance. Mixing radials, or mixing radials with bias or belted-bias tires, may adversely affect handling and stability.

      WARNING

The charts and information on this page do not imply interchangeability. Consult your machine's manual to determine correct replacements, clearances, compatibility and stability, load-bearing capacity, speed rating, radial vs. non-radial, pattern and tread compound requirements, inflation recommendations and front-to-rear tire matching. Wrong selection can result in tire failure or loss of control with serious injury or death.

    Great all around tire
The rubber is very soft with lots of sipes, so it grips well and performs incredibly well in the rain. The downside is that they actually wear out relatively quick, and lack stability. They also have a very round profile, which is not very agile. I recommend this tire for those commuting in wet weather or just in general, but not for those looking for a super sporty profile with razor sharp handling.

    Holds the line
I have had three sets of these now with the average tread life being around 10,000 miles. Great handling and grip make this tire stand out when it comes to touring and performance.

    Great Tire
After riding around on this tire for about 400 miles and so far they are great, I haven't had any issues with it slipping or skipping. The profile seems neutral and it dips into corners very smoothly and is easily predictable. Haven't had a chance to test them in wet weather so I can't say much about that. Over all for my kind of riding (Twisties and commuting) it does everything that I need from a tire.

    On my 4th set
I've been running these since they were first released. First on a VFR800 and now on an FZ1. The bulk of my riding is commuting, but I toss the bike in the corners as much as conditions allow. I had some cupping issues on the VFR, which I think was suspension related and not the tire. I've had none of those issues on the FZ1. I've been riding on these for nearly 50k miles now and I will keep riding on them until Michelin releases something even better. I average over 8k miles per rear and 14k per front.

    Great tires period.
Install a pair of these babies with internal bead balancing and you'll feel like you are riding on two gyroscopes.

    Best street tire
This was the first street tire I ran in years. I usually just run race take offs, but I don't ride on the track anymore and needed street tires for my fz1. I'm not easy on my tires. These are very grippy can run to the edges no problem, and have great grip in the rain. Not sure on tread life yet, but have about 2k miles on them no sign of wear. Which I used to switch tires every 1500 miles so that's nice.

Only have 70 miles on it so far, but it seems like a very good tire.

Rocky Mtn ATV/MC...my new go to place for parts!
I have always loved the Michelin Pilot Road series...first the 2s and 3s and now the 4s. The have always handled well given great grip, wet or dry and more mileage than other tires I have tried. I went thru five sets on my 2008 Concours14 and at 3300 miles am replacing the OEM Bridgestones on my new Ninja 1000 with PR4s. Love these tires! This is my first time ordering from Rocky Mtn...I am impressed-cheaper than anyone else and they were delivered in 2 days. What more could you ask for!
