Best XC tire!
This tire does amazing for XC races. Climbing hills takes less effort and energy. Cornering with more confidence and less highsiding. Be careful not to dump the throttle. It’s gonna hook up. So you can’t dump the throttle from 0-100. It will smoke your clutch. Overall throttle confidence was amazing. Wheelies up every hill climb. While the rest are squirly and have their legs hanging off the back. You’re trucking along making up time. Most XC races are loose terrain due to the amount of traffic. Doesn’t have to be a sand pit or a mud fest for this tire to perform.

The Best Non Paddle Sand Tire out there.
I ride a 2018 KTM 450SXF. I live in West Central Florida and I ride mostly high speed whooped out sand tracks. I swapped from a new (not worn at all) Dunlop MX3S rear, which is a good tire in its own right, to the Pirelli soft 410 rear and kept the MX3S front for now. First impression was wow the cornering grip this 410 has in the soft sand is epic. Lean it over as far as you want and it just bites hard and never lets go. The MX3S in these same corners would slide out all over the place at lower speeds and less throttle input vs the Pirelli. Straight line traction is also markedly better with 4th gear power wheelies on demand even in the deepest sand. I Will definitely be switching the front tire over to the Pirelli 410 to match after experiencing the performance change from the rear. I highly recommend these if you ride sand.

I picked these over the Michelin Starcross 5 sand after seeing the Starcross 5 rear in person at a dealership. The knobs are so soft on the Starcross 5 sand that you can easily fold them flat against the tire with just your thumb pushing down on them. That’s terrifying if you ever used them on anything but very soft sand the knobs will just fold right over on you and you will lose control of the bike. The Pirelli knobs are very hard and sharp by comparison and you cannot bend them at all.

Love this tire!
I use this tire on our extended Hillclimb bike. The tire makes excellent traction in our application! I normally buy at least two during each season. We have used it trail riding also, works great but wears out on our terrain (rocky, hard dirt).

Great tire
So far having excellent results. Using for trail riding. Soft (deep) sand and mud. Traction is very good. Can't comment on wear since I've only rode about 25 miles so far.

Super Aggressive!
I installed this tire on the back of a CRF150F and turned the little bike into a traction monster. With the smaller 16" rear this bike is not known for it's high-traction abilities so I wanted the most aggressive tire I could find in this size. This was it. Don't let the paddle design fool you: it rides better than it looks and the picture doesn't do this tire justice to how awesome it looks in real life. Obviously, the tire is not at home on hard pack but in the woods, mud and soft stuff it's the ticket. Sand is no problem. Hill climbs are a breeze too. Definitely solved the lack of traction problem. Highly recommend if you want pure traction and don't ride mostly hard pack. I give this tire 5 stars for what it was designed to do but keep in mind that this tire will wear faster and not handle as well on hard ground as a knobby design but that's the price you pay for awesome traction in the soft and sloppy stuff!

Is this the new redesigned mx soft? Pirelli says the new and the old have the same part number, but I’m looking for the new design

BEST ANSWER: The one I received was the new one
How good would these tires be for use at sand dunes?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They would be awesome. I have used these tires on a YZ125 at the Sand Box motocross track in Fernley, NV and were like night and day over my Bridgestone 203/204's (soft terrain pattern/compund). They love the super soft sand/silt.
Is this the new MX Soft or the old 410? The product picture is the old 410.
A shopper on Sep 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This looks like the new model to me, see how the very edge knobs are in-between the center row lugs. My old 120/90/19 size all lugs were in a single "row" across with a slight arc.

I preferred the larger size for my 450, but will be trying these.
Is this a front and rear set or just rear?
Owen G on Jun 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These are not sold in a set. The price is per one tire.
