Good cheap tire - purchased a couple of times now. Gets me through 1-1.5 riding seasons on average riding about 1-3 times per week.

    Great Tire at any price
I put the Shinko 005 Advance front tire on my Ducati Monster as a replacement for Bridgestone BT021's. I wanted a inexpensive front tire to hold me over, since my front BT021 wore out way before the rear. I've been more than happy.... handling and grip is as good as Bridgstones. I balanced it with Dyna Beads and the ride quality is smooth as silk. So far, they're wearing better than the Bridgestones... 4k miles and they still look like new - nice even wear, no cupping. GREAT BUY! I've just ordered a new Shinko rear tire.

    Front motorcyle tire
I just received my tire for my bike and it is of high quality at a low price, and in this tough time it's the best that I could have hoped for.

I am debating between this (005) and the 009 Raven, I am afraid the groove on the center will wear faster than without, is there any difference or disadvantage? I attempt to chat with staff and they ditch me...
Southern Gentleman on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The (005) they ride well and are wearing evenly so far. I've used other Shinko tires (230) on an older bike the center does wear faster it has a zig-zag center groove. But I'm happy with that tire it has good holding power.
What is the minimum Rim Width for my 21 inch diamiter wheel for the 120/70 size of this tire ?
    paul f on Apr 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: On Shinko's website they list the 120/70/21 tire being recommended for a 3.5" wide wheel, and fits the Yamaha Raider and Stryker, which have exactly that width wheel.

Depending which of the numerous tire/rim fitment charts you want to believe, the minimum rim width for a 120/70/21 is typically given as 3.0", but some list it as ok down to 2.5".
