    Tire keeps going and going
Installed this on a '08 Versys 650. It's outlasted 3 rear tires and currently has 35,000 miles on it. Yes that's not a typo. It's not down to the wear bars yet but will be replaced due to its age. Best front tire I've ran so far.

These worked on my fjr1300 and lasted 6000 rear and 9000 front now I am trying them on a bike that weights 300 pounds less so far so good
I buy these all the time and Rocky mountain atv motorcycle priced matched both front and rear 2 days and they were here a sticky good milage tire cheaper than the other name brands around 150.00 for both and they last longer

The 009 Raven has to be the best tire deal in the world. They last for a long long time. I just cannot believe that you can buy a tire in this price range and it is as good as the Raven is. I have used them on all types of bikes and they will get the job done. If you are on a budget or just want a tire that is priced right that will perform great this is it.

    Great for what it is
More commuter's or sport touring than aggressive sport riding tire. The profile is more rounded and the compound is harder , than most sport tires. You get very long life and pretty smooth ride. The trade- you have to be careful in the turns before the tire worms up, otherwise it slides comparatively easy. Awesome cost/benefit ratio when used with common sense.

I normally use Pirelli Angel GT tires but I was on a budget and had to find an alternative tires. Very happy with these tires, good traction and excellent tread life. Almost as good as the Pirelli but for half the price. I will be buying them from now on.

Hard to beat price wise and performs well
Good all around tire. Don't ask it to do racer performance.

1998 K1200RS. Wow!! Cheap Price. Quality Ride.
I really bought the cheapest tires I could find. Wire sticking out of my front Metzler Roadtec at 4000 miles. Heck with it. I'm getting the cheapest thing I can find. To my surprise I love these, should I say this tire. Bought the rear as well but not needed yet. I always check tire pressure, etc. Checklist before ride. Don't know why poor performance from Roadtec but absolutely love the Raven. Have about 1500 miles on it. Still looks new. Love performance. About time to change rear. Will review when I get some miles on it.

How well do these do if there is any moisture in the ground?
    Bandit C on Dec 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: First off these were on my wife's BMW R 1200 C which she typically rides around 15,000 miles a year in all types of weather ,we always run with Michelin Pilot Road 4 in the past but, because we usually replace tires 3 to 4 times a season on both hers and mine it gets quite pricey to use the top brands and she reports that the Shinko Ravens worked as good or better in all conditions and types of driving as the MUCH more expensive brands. We are sold on Shinkos I also use the 705 on my BMW R 1200 GS Adventure and love them !
What does the number with the letter after it mean?
    Greg H on Nov 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The ZR means that it's a high speed radial tire. The 55W is the weight and speed rating. 55 = 481 pound weight rating. W = 168 mph max speed rating.
