Want a front tire that works well or lasts well?

Comments On Nov 17, 2015:With the 606 tires, both front and rear, they last decently for dual sport riding and they are tough tires as far as resisting pinch flats. Traction is not their forte.

Rear only: Great for 30/70 street to dirt

Comments On Oct 19, 2015:I've used the 606 rear off and on for over 5 years now. It's always performed well for me. I'll air it up and ride down the interstate, carve some asphalt backroads, forest service and then drop the pressure and hit single track with it. It's not the best in mud but it handles hard pack and gravel very well. It's my favorite DOT rear tire for dirt riding my DRZ. I like to push the dirt limits with my dualsport and this is my go to DOT rear tire. Saying that I admit I like the AT81 RC better however it's not DOT and doesn't last as long. Performance comes with a trade off.

Great rear tire but the front is awful.

Comments On Oct 05, 2015:I ride mostly off road and wanted good grip and stable ride. The rear tire is great and I will certainly buy again. The front is awful and washes out all the time. Really poor in deep sand. No better than the original Bridgestones. Need to find a better DOT front tire.

I really like this tire

Comments On Oct 12, 2015:For what I ride at 90%+ off road it works great. It does excellent in the rocks and on the trail. It also handles well on the pavement when you need to connect trail.

Stick with a good off-road tire

Comments On Sep 29, 2015:If you're thinking of using this for a dirt bike that you dual sport occasionally, stick with a good off-road tire. This tire has much less grip and traction than a real dirt tire and did't last any longer than a Trak Master or the Maxis Desert that I usually use. Not worth the extra money.

Good tire

Comments On Sep 09, 2015:Tire works well in all terrain. Braking performance is a little weak. Lasts longer than most others out there. recommend it.

Good but wears fast

Comments On Aug 15, 2015:This is a good tire for the lighter dual sport bikes but the heavier bikes will wear it down fairly fast if it sees much pavement.

Amazing Tire

Comments On Jul 19, 2015:I have only been doing the dirt moto thing for about 6 months but I was able to see from the reviews that the D606 is a favorite DS/trail riding tire. I picked up a used KLX250 outfitted with a Shinko Trials tire that recently started slipping too much in all conditions. I put on the burley D606 and my riding went to a new level. The grip for climbing is amazing and it is very smooth and stable when motoring back home through the paved canyon roads. Good rubber is critical for safety and performance and this tire has exceeded my expectations on and off road.
