Works like it should! No reason to try to improvise bearing replacements when this tool is available

    good tool
this is a good quality tool that gets the job done for a reasonable price. I couldn't figure out what Honda charges for theirs, but I would bet it's several times more.

    Perfect!
You know how your dad told you the proper tool will make the job easy, well he was right. If your taking off your retainer bearing in your hub BUY THIS TOOL! Perfect size, and it took 10 seconds to take of the retainer.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
I got tired of using whatever i had laying around the garage to un thread the bearing retainer in the rear hub so I got this. Even if you only pull the retainer once it's worth it.

    Very handy tool
This is a great tool to add to the toolbox if you like to do your own work on your bike. Guys will tell you that you can just use a punch to get the retainer ring out, but this tool is easier and has less chance of damaging things in my opinion.

    Bearing Reatiner Tool
A must when replacing your rear bearings on the XR600R. Just make sure to hold it firmly so that the little pegs don't chip off. Be nice and gentle when removing as the threads seem to be easily destroyed. Don't force when putting it back together or else you can accidentally re-thread.

Will this fit a 2018 CRF450 steering stem retaining castle nut?
    Matthew K on Jan 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No. It would need to have a hole through the middle of it to fit over the steering stem. It will fit your rear wheel bearing retainer though. Just use a brass drift and a hammer to tighten the steering stem retainer. I've been doing it like that for 30 years.
