Details

Get the Maxxis Maxx Cross EN Tire on your bike and you’ll be ready to have fun on almost any terrain you want to run on. The Maxx Cross EN does well for two reasons. First, with such a large footprint you naturally get more contact between tire and terrain. Second, that footprint consists of a ton of large knobbies with individual sipes on each, making every knob bite and flex on the terrain.

That translates to more traction and more speed. So hold on in the straights but don’t forget that with an aggressive pattern of shoulder knobs the EN tears up the corners too. This is the kind of performance you can’t argue with. When you’re ready for dependable grip, put it down in a big way with a pair of the Maxxis Maxx Cross EN Tires on your dual sport or dirt bike.

    Specs:
  • An ideal choice for all off-road conditions
  • Strong carcass and long-wearing compound mean lasting performance
  • Tread pattern features widely spaced, large knobs that bite hard, shed mud and steer quickly
  • Aggressive shoulder knobs instill rider confidence in corners
  • Knob sipes enhance grip on hard terrain and rocks by increasing biting edges and knob flex
  • Maxx Cross' proven performance and quality available for big bore bikes and those seeking a larger footprint

Maxxis en front tire
Great front tire on roots and rocks. Has a wider foot print and the lugs clean out well.

Great tire
Great on many conditions!! From mud to sand to rocks. Good predictably and traction. Have not chunked any knobbies off yet and I ride on rocks every other ride.

Great Front Tire, Not Good for Tubliss
Overall this tire rips and is one of the best front's I've ever used. HOWEVER, as a few others have noted, it's built on a pretty light/soft casing and I learned the hard way it doesn't really get along with the Tubliss system (unless you like flat front tires every other ride).

Also, pretty soft compound and doesn't last all that long.

really good tire! the compound was a little soft for what I ride so the durability did not last as long as a maxxis desert IT. the compound is softer then the desert IT.

decent
Wasn't the best tire I've used. It could be better as far as handling and traction go.

Great performing tire
I'm running this tire on a yz450 using a tubless system 10-12 lbs.
We've had wetter conditions in the dessert this year. The tire is hooking up on everything. I would use it again

Awesome tire
Awesome tire for north east jersey. It hooks up great at 6-8 psi with a heavy tube. From soft loam, to moss laden rocks and hill climbs and wet logs in the single track it sticks. At high speeds its feels great,it tracks well over square edge hits, doesnt wallow or feel vague, and corners like its on rails, thread life not sure yet only rode on ot 4x. So far so good though. Def my new go to tire(used to be the kenda Ibex)

Nice Multi Terrain Option
Ran the Maxxis EN on my KTM EXC and it has decent wear running various terrain from rock to sand. It has predictable handling and usually shows signs before completely losing grip. For the money it is a nice option if looking for a tire that can span different riding areas, it does not excel in any one condition but does well in most.
