Not manufactured as OE jets.
Upon receiving this kit i noticed that none of the jets were manufactured as the OEM jets. Even the “stock” sized jet was
noticeably bigger, it also required an adapter to fit into the bowl. I decided not to use this kit and bought all OE jets.

total uncork of the 2020 XR650L..ordered the dyno kit..read the instructions, called mostly for snorkel removed+foam filter...well i did much more then that,port/polished header/modified muffler(built my own baffle/spark arrestor/3/4" to 13/8" opening)removed snorkle, plus 2" by 3/4" opening in side panel.so i called dynoport, explained all i did, my area.he crunched the #'s and gave me a ball park, which was same as directions..today since we had nice weather..i took her out for a few laps around the property...WOW..big difference then the STOCK SLUG...throttle response great, crisp, clean running...you twist that barrel ,the give me a second(bog)stock version is OUT of HERE,bye..bye.....Dyno Jet kit well worth the money/time.wake that red pig up today.....

Some helpful information..
Installed on my new DRZ400SM, works great. What made me second guess myself with the carb out was that the forums popular opinion (with JD kits) called for a higher jet than what the DJ kit calls for, STICK WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS! It took me a long bit of searching to find that the company's jet sizes are different. I thought there was a standard of some sort but just follow the directions on whichever kit you get, or be prepared to pull it off and swap jets frequently. The kit came with two drill bits and a screw to pull the brass cap off of the fuel mixture screw, as well as a lot of extra jets for "future mods" although I can't speak from experience.

Needs a touch more tweaking...
I installed this on a 2008 XR650L. Bone stock with a Uni air filter and the snorkel still in-place. The kit says to leave the pilot stock at a 50, but at 2500’ I had to swap in a 52. This combo and a little fuel screw tweaking made it run super smooth. You could do the Dave’s Mods, but the Dynojet needle makes all the difference.

resolved!
I had issues with my 660 raptor. Would not stay consistent with idle or mid range. I thought I had it fixed on my own with adjusting it. Still issues. After weeks of tinkering with it. I finally purchased a Dynajet kit and followed the instructions. My first start up was smooth and no issues with fluctuating mid range. The quad now has a nice crisp throttle response. The previous owner had 10 sizes too big of jets. This kit resolved my problems. Extremely happy!

Over priced for what it is.
Seems to work ok. Considering I only needed one jet and a the needed the kit is terribly over priced for the nearly unrecognizable performance gain.

This is a well worth kit in my mind. I would give a 5 star rating but there are drawbacks to this. Mainly lost 10 mpg.
But it does run better with more usable power.
Everything has a trade off.

Do I need two kits for a two stage carburetor?
TJ F on Aug 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Everything should be included for the carburetor you are ordering the dyno jet kit for, very easy to install, as well as step by step instructions
I have a 2006 Yamaha Raptor 350 and an aftermarket HMF pipe installed. The idle now seems to be off. However when putting on the exhaust, the manufacturer says that you do not need to reject. At this point though im a bit skeptical with that statement? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Daniel C on Feb 5, 2020
BEST ANSWER: My experience with carbureted Yamahas is they ALL need re-jetting as they are all too lean. Now if you only added the muffler section, a slip on, adjusting the primary needle and raising the needle may be enough. If you installed a complete system, well then, yes you will need to completely re-jet the carb. Get at least a stage 2 kit as a stage 1 will be very close to stock, then get extra jets two steps up and down in number to supplement the kit.
2005 Raptor 660. FMF powerbomb header and powercore 4 silencer. K&N air filter and XL tires. What jetting sizes and needle positions should I use for maximum power (stage 2 kit)?
Cameron V on Jul 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Here is the install instructions for your vehicle.

Q414.001
2001-2005 Yamaha 660R
Raptor
Stage 2
For mildly tuned machines using a modified air
box, with a stock or aftermarket filter. May also be
used with a good aftermarket exhaust system.

STAGE 2 INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the intake snorkle from the air box lid. With a sharp knife remove the two flaps shown in Fig.C.
The intake snorkle should look like Fig.D after the flaps are removed.
NOTE:
This step must be performed
in-order for the jet kit to function properly.
2. Remove the vacuum slides from the carbs. Remove the stock needles & spacers, noting the order of
assembly(Fig.A).
3. Install the Dynojet needles on groove #4 from the top, using all stock spacers. Install the Dynojet slide
springs (DSP026) in place of the stock slide springs .
NOTE:
The DSP77 springs do not have to be used,
they are supplied in case the stock springs are misplaced. After installing the slides in the carbs be sure to
check slide movement manually before air box installation.
4. Remove the stock main jets. Replace with the Dynojet main jets provided. If you are running the stock
exhaust use the DJ142 in the left carb and the DJ144 in the right carb below 3000 feet, DJ140 in the left
carb and DJ142 in the right carb from 3000 to 6000 feet and DJ138 in the left carb and DJ140 in the right
carb above 6000Feet. If you are running an aftermarket slip-on exhaust with a high flow baffle, use the
DJ144 in the left carb and the DJ146 in the right carb below 3000 feet, DJ142 in the left carb and DJ144 in
the right carb from 3000 to 6000 feet and DJ140 in the left carb and DJ142 in the right carb above 6000
feet. If you are running a full aftermarket exhaust with a high flow baffle, use the DJ146 in the left carb
and the DJ148 in the right carb below 3000 feet, DJ144 in the left carb and DJ146 in the right carb from
3000 to 6000 feet and DJ142 in the left carb and DJ144 in the right carb above 6000 feet. Be sure that
the jet you are changing is the main jet.
5. Locate the fuel mixture screws (Fig. B). Carefully turn mixture screws clockwise until seated, then back
out 3 turns.
does this come with the D shaped bit for the fuel/air screw?
robert d on Oct 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If the jet kit installation requires that tool to adjust the air/fuel mixture screw for your particular model, then it will be included in the kit. Kits that do not require that tool will not have it included.
Is the image of the jet kit the same that i will recieve?
Ronaldo M on Nov 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, and even more jets than shown so you can adjust for altitude, temp etc. Even comes with a drill bit and wood screw to use in case the air screw is blocked by an epa plug. Lets you drill into plug, thread with wood screw and pull plug with pliers allowing you to change jet. It all comes in a nice plastic compartmentalized case with hinged lid. I boujght kit 2152.
I just purchased a motoworks full exhaust system for my 2009 Honda trx450r and I’m not quite sure what I need to do when it comes to jetting the carb since I’m putting an aftermarket exhaust on. Can anybody help me out with some answers on what I do please?
Kurtis L on Jun 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Not one correct answer for this. Generally, an aftermarket exhaust and/or air filter upgrade warrants a slight bump to larger pilot jet, slight turn of the fuel screw and maybe even a main jet increase. Adding a jet kit helps take some of the guess work out of experimentating with different set ups but there are many factors to consider. There are good instructions included with the Dynojet kit too!
Which stage comes in this kit?
Paul C on Feb 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Ju still received one and it contains both stage 1 and 2.
What type of tool do i need to reach inside of carb slides to squeeze c-clip to remove needles?also where can i buy one ?
Mike D on Sep 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Most of the time the needle can be removed with some pressure on the tapered or lower portion of the main needle. Sometimes it’s easier to grab the top of the needle and slide it out from the top. Once removed a small flathead screwdriver in the gap furthest from the opening on the clip will pop it off, occasionally under unpredictable tension so watch your eyes and work in a clean area to ease finding a clip that has returned from low earth orbit. Good luck.
I am wondering the main jet size that come with this kit? Trying to
Jeremy F on Apr 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The main jet sizes that come in this kit are CJ116-CJ140 in increments of 4.
How much more fuel are you using after the installation of the DynoJet then from before the installation?
Shane M on Feb 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: From my experience stock jetting is notoriously lean, heating correctly with dynojet or similar will use impact fuel consumption slightly, however nothing that will be dramatically noticed. Plus you will have the advantage of better response and by removing the lean condition you will run the motor cooler.

How many jets come with the kit? What is required to install this kit in my quad and are other enough jets for a two stage?
TJ F on Aug 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: What year make, mode, and modifications do you have? I will be able to tell you everything that comes in the kit with that information. Most kits that are a stage 1 and 2 have more jets sizes than are actually required. Our kits come with everything you need to re-jet your carburetor.
