Big improvement over stock.
These pegs replaced old beat up ones on my 89 XR600R. They look trick and definitely provide much more stable, comfortable peg. The grip on my boots is fine. I never had to think about coming off the peg. They mounted up ok with a few concerns. The thickness of the material created a few problems. The stock pivot pin isn't long enough to use a flat washer and barely long enough to allow a cotter pin. It would have been nice had new pins been included on a part this expensive. I drilled out the hole for the cotter pin giving me just enough room for a cotter pin, but no washer. I guess you could just use a bolt and nylock nut or source a pin at a hardware store. I'm glad I got them. Big improvement over stock.

Works great and feels much better than stock
These are awesome. I ride alot of rocky offroad trails and minimal track use. They are wider tham stock and grip alot better. A huge plus is they grip without tearing my boots up. My one minor complaint is I wish they had more colors to coose from. I will buy another set for my second bike.

Looks sharp, brakes well
Tusk brake lever looks sharp and does what it needs to. It has held up well after 10+ hours of bouncing it through rocks and singletrack. The tip is better constructed than the stock lever and is less prone to bending.
